Subtleness of Deception

Each of us must be vigilant to weigh the words spoken and written concerning the Spiritual realm.  This is precisely why I continue to urge people to hear FATHER themselves rather than relying on others to hear for them.  When you rely on others to hear, you become subject to their humanity and their weaknesses in certain areas which may include idols of the heart.  Ezekiel was shown the elders of Israel thought they could get away with sinning in the darkness out of view of others yet in chapter 8 we find:

So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.

Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.

And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.”

10 So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls.

11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.

12 Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.’ ”

We must not be ignorant of the reality that FATHER is fully aware of everything we do, both good and bad.  If we fail to repent, the necessary judgment arrives at our doorstep.  This is for our good and because FATHER’S Love demands cleansing and purification for us to be able to enter into HIS Presence.  You can deceive others but FATHER is not deceived by what happens in the depths of your heart, mind, and body.

We must consider the fact that these were elders and should have known better.  People looked up to them and treated them with respect yet that did not stop them from sinning “in the dark”.  Does their sin keep the Word from performing its intended function?  FATHER watches over HIS Word as HE told Ezekiel in chapter 12:

25  “For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord GOD.’ ”

This is precisely why evangelists such as Jimmy Swaggart could minister salvation and healing while at the same time conducting illicit activities.  His activities in the dark did not negate the salvation of those whose faith brought forth blessing in those meetings.  Otherwise, none of us would have received many blessings through vessels marked with imperfections.  We must not be fearful of being subjected to man’s opinions but simply be aware that unless the Word is specifically being stated, man’s interpretation or influence might affect its Divine Intent.  FATHER will help you separate the dross from the pure Word.
