Paul wrote in Colossians chapter 1:
13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
We are no longer subject to the domain of darkness yet many Believers still unknowingly live according to that realm. IN HIM there is no darkness and we have been legally transferred into FATHER’S Kingdom but are still not living in the fullness of the rights and privileges of our citizenship. Why? We have accepted our physical senses as having the final word rather than looking up into the Spiritual realm where our citizenship resides.
Your passport affords you the rights associated with the country that issued it. The Word is in a sense a passport of your Heavenly citizenship and in it are contained the rights afforded to you by FATHER. Jesus died for our sins and sicknesses but we tend to omit the second promise of His death and resurrection. Cancer is not omitted from the list of diseases dealt with by His Blood. Dementia is also not excluded. In Deuteronomy 28, FATHER described the list for those who persisted in their rebellion:
58 “If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, fnthe LORD your God,
59 then the LORD will bring(permit) extraordinary plagues on you and fnyour descendants, even fnsevere and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
60 He will bring (permit) back on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
61 Also every sickness and every plague which, not written in the book of this law, the LORD will bring (permit) on you until you are destroyed.
The list covers ALL sickness and ALL disease, there are no exclusions for nothing is truly incurable. Let us embrace the reality that we have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and let our testimony line up with our true citizenship. Those in the other kingdom will not understand and may attempt to judge us according to their blindness but that should not deter us from expressing who we are in Christ.
We have been made alive in Christ as Paul shared in Ephesians chapter 2:
6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and fnthat not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
We are commissioned to good works which FATHER prepared for us to walk in so let us embrace this Truth over any temporal opinion of the world. When you have been rescued you are no longer subject to the previous situation you were in unless you attempt to return to that state. Let us go forth and be a witness of FATHER to the rest of mankind so they too can and will be rescued.
Remember:
1 Corinthians 6:
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
