Jesus is The Light of the world and so we should keep His preeminence at the forefront of our mind-set. We need to grasp the reality that as He is so are we!
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:
15 Jesus is the Divine portrait, the True Likeness of the invisible God, and the first-born Heir of all creation.
16 For through the Son everything was created, both in the Heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. Every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority—it was all created through Him and for His purpose!
17 He existed before anything was made, and now everything finds completion in Him.
If you want to know FATHER better, you should focus on Jesus- His Words and acts. As you do, you will gain a greater understanding of who you are in Christ and your true relationship with FATHER as one of HIS Sons or Daughters. Our spirit is perfect and needs no further development. This is why we are to focus on changing our mind-set to align with our spirit.
18 He is the Head of His Body, which is the church. And since He is the beginning and the firstborn Heir in resurrection, He is the most exalted One, holding first place in everything.
19 For God is satisfied to have all HIS Fullness dwelling in Christ.
20 And by the Blood of His cross, everything in Heaven and earth is brought back to Himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!
In my earlier years, I found myself relating with David, Jacob, Joseph, Peter, and others. As I have gained understanding, I now focus on relating directly with Jesus because He is the Perfect Example of how I should walk and act. What kept me from maturing quicker? Lack of understanding of who I am in Christ!
Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 16:
16 Everyone wants gold, but Wisdom’s worth is far greater. Silver is sought after, but a heart of understanding yields a greater return.
You cannot see cell phone signals yet most of us rely on such signals we cannot see. Was the invisible spectrum of waves where those signals are generated created by man? No, man simply discovered their existence and began to experiment to find what characteristics they had and how man could use this resource. These waves were created when the rest of creation came into being. Is the spirit realm any different?
As we gain understanding of how our spirit interacts with our mind and body, we will be able to operate seamlessly as did Jesus. Why look at any other example for your direction and understanding? The Perfect Example is the best example.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:
6 For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.
Your cell phone is designed to operate by those invisible signals you cannot see. You are designed to walk by The Holy Spirit Whom you cannot see. These postings are intended to move us to a higher level and align our mind-set with our spirit where we are perfected in Christ. It is our choice of what we accept and where we place our focus.
I am not against knowing what is going on around us but it should not become our priority. It will only burn up time that could be spent renewing our mind. Aligning our mind-set is where sustainable fruit is produced.
