Are you accommodating, tolerating, or adjusting to your sickness or other needs?
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you accepting your current situation?
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 3:
1 So then what is the importance of circumcision, and what advantage is there of being a Jew?
2 Actually, there are numerous advantages. Most important, God distinguished the Jews from all other people by entrusting them with the revelation of His prophetic promises.
3 But what if some were unfaithful to their Divine calling? Does their unbelief weaken God’s faithfulness?
4 Absolutely not! God will always be proven faithful and true to His Word, while people are proven to be liars. This will fulfill what was written in the Scriptures: Your Words will always be vindicated and You will rise victorious when You are being tried by your critics!
Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 2:
10 But when we do what pleases God, we can expect unfading glory, true honor, and a continual peace—to the Jew first and also to the non-Jew,
11 for God sees us all without partiality. (For there is no partiality with God)
How committed are you to walking in the promises of Our Loving Heavenly Father? HIS Word is true and the world would have us believe otherwise by providing us with alternatives of tolerance.
For example, the world’s solution to prosperity for the average person is a thirty year mortgage loan for a house. FATHER’S solution is to be blessed and prosper to the point where you don’t need a mortgage. Is HE against mortgages? No, HE told us that we would be lenders rather than borrowers so borrowers are not in sin. However, HE will provide you and me with a way out of debt. HE has done that in my life and HE will do it for you. HE is not partial to me as Paul stated above.
If you are in need, it is time to no longer tolerate your situation.
Mark recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 5:
25 Now, in the crowd that day was a woman who had suffered horribly from continual bleeding for twelve years.
26 She had endured a great deal under the care of various doctors, yet in spite of spending all she had on their treatments, she was not getting better, but worse.
27 When she heard about Jesus’ healing power, she pushed through the crowd and came up from behind him and touched his prayer shawl.
28 For she kept saying to herself, “If only I could touch his clothes, I know I will be healed.”
29 As soon as her hand touched him, her bleeding immediately stopped! She knew it, for she could feel her body instantly being healed of her disease!
30 Jesus knew at once that someone had touched him, for he felt the power that always surged around him had passed through him for someone to be healed. He turned and spoke to the crowd, saying, “Who touched my clothes?”
31 His disciples answered, “What do you mean, who touched you? Look at this huge crowd—they’re all pressing up against you.”
32 But Jesus’ eyes swept across the crowd, looking for the one who had touched him for healing.
33 When the woman who experienced this miracle realized what had happened to her, she came before him, trembling with fear, and threw herself down at his feet, saying, “I was the one who touched you.” And she told him her story of what had just happened.
34 Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!”
The woman spent twelve years and all her financial resources attempting to be healed by the world’s methods. Clearly, those doctors were practicing on her to the point where she was now broke financially. Sound familiar? Enough was enough and she was determined to be healed
Do you dare to believe?
What caused this woman to believe Jesus could heal her? We find the answer in Matthew’s account when he recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 9:
2 Just then some people brought a paraplegic man to him, lying on a sleeping mat. When Jesus perceived the strong faith within their hearts, He said to the paralyzed man, “My son, be encouraged, for your sins have been forgiven.”
3 These words prompted some of the religious scholars who were present to think, “Why, that’s nothing but blasphemy!”
4 Jesus supernaturally perceived their thoughts, and said to them, “Why do you carry such evil in your hearts?
5 Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or, ‘Stand up and walk!’? [6] But now, to convince you that the Son of Man has been given authority to forgive sins, I say to this man, ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk home.’”
7 Immediately the man sprang to his feet and left for home.
8 When the crowds witnessed this miracle, they were awestruck. They shouted praises to God because He had given such authority to human beings.
The woman was in the crowd and saw the miracle of healing take place. She heard The Words of Jesus which produced faith in her heart thus she was now prepared to receive her healing as well. She was sick and tired of being sick and tired so she did something about even though the Law said to stay away from the crowds.
