Isaiah wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 35:
8 A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road,
Shall not go astray (a fool will not accidently find his way to this road, you cease to be a fool when you get on this Highway).
Once we repent and become qualified to walk on the Highway of Holiness, we should “therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance” (Matthew 3:8). We must continue to turn away from our old ways and not “exit” the Highway and become lost.
We turn away from old ways and produce fruit for the Kingdom. We transfer ownership to FATHER WHO is Holy and we become Holy ourselves. We hand over our finances to HIM and HE begins to bless whatever we set our hand to on this earth. The tithe affirms HIS ownership.
The world will try to get your attention and cause you to look away and redirect your focus to its ways causing to leave the Highway of Holiness. Alternative paths will lead to destruction.
The entrance to the Highway of Holiness is narrow and people will not accidentally access this Highway. Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:
13 “Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction—nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! 14 The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life—so few even find it!”
If something causes you to draw away from this Highway or path, repent and return you focus toward Jesus Who leads us on this Highway of Holiness. To reiterate, Holiness is ownership thus we are fully submitted to be led by The Holy Spirit no matter what the world says or does.
On the day we celebrate as Palm Sunday, Jesus proceeded on the “Highway of Holiness” and Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 19:
28 After saying all of this, Jesus headed straight for Jerusalem. 29 When He arrived at the stables of Annia near the Mount of Olives, He sent two of his disciples ahead, saying, 30 “When you enter the next village, you will find tethered there a donkey’s young colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it to me. 31 And if anyone stops you and asks, ‘What are you doing?’ just tell them this: ‘It is needed for the Lord of All.’”
32 The two who were sent entered the village and found the colt exactly like Jesus had said. 33 While they were untying the colt, the owners approached them and asked, “What are you doing?”
34 The disciples replied, “We need this donkey for the Lord of All.”
35–36 They brought the colt to Jesus. Then they placed their prayer shawls on its back, and Jesus rode it as he descended the Mount of Olives toward Jerusalem. As He rode along, people spontaneously threw their prayer shawls on the path in front of Him like a carpet.
FATHER’S ownership of the colt superseded that of the man in the village and there was no debate or argument concerning ownership. This Highway had prayer as its foundation with people being led to lay down their prayer shawls on the path. Additionally, this path led Jesus to the crucifixion and represents us leading a crucified life as well. Today commemorates us putting “self” to death and acknowledging FATHER’S full and complete ownership.
And the people shouted over and over, “Highest praises to GOD for the One who comes as King in the name of the LORD! Heaven’s peace and glory from the highest realm now comes to us!”
