Our LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is a Healer. In Exodus chapter 15, HE spoke:
There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them, 26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
HE also spoke in Malachi chapter 3:
6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Jesus Christ healed the sick. Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 13:
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Matthew recorded by THE SPIRIT in chapter 12:
15 And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.
Jesus commanded His disciples to heal the sick. Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:
5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
And Jesus spoke in John chapter 8:
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
The early church ministered healing to the sick. In Acts chapter 5, it is recorded by THE SPIRIT:
12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.
13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.
14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.
16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
Jesus commissioned all believers to heal the sick. In Mark chapter 16, Jesus spoke:
14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
We must keep these five points before us at all times and expect to walk in the same manner as Jesus commanded: these signs will follow those who believe and they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. As this Truth becomes fully resident in us, we will walk according to Jesus’ commandment to heal the sick. In turn, our lights will shine in the world full of darkness for they will see the LIVING GOD endorse and validate the message of Love we possess and speak forth. FATHER need not change, we must continue to mature and change so that indeed we are truly abiding in HIS Word at all times. The result will be: And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! It is that simple.
