Do Not Grow Weary

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Galatians chapter 6:

8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

During the fall feast days each year there is anticipation that this is the year FATHER might do something spectacular for all the world to see.  Those who have studied the feasts and their prophetic undertones can’t help but hope for immediate manifestation of FATHER’S plan.  I too share this desire but when the feast days are behind us for the year we must not grow weary in well doing.  As Paul teaches us by THE SPIRIT “We shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Our mandate is to go good to all especially those who believe by faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  Of late FATHER has increased our awareness and focus of walking and being led by THE SPIRIT.  You will either walk by the flesh or by THE SPIRIT, it is your choice.  If you do walk by the flesh you will reap corruption as Paul clearly states in verse 8.  But look at the promise of “sowing to the SPIRIT”, we will reap everlasting life.  This is why it is imperative that I focus my thoughts and actions each day to sow to the SPIRIT and stay fresh.

Our emotions will try to impair our walk depending on what the world throws at us.  Two days ago I received a disappointing report but instead of dwelling on it I simply continued to keep my focus on FATHER’S promises.  Two hours later the report was found to be false.  Thankfully I did not let my emotions ruin my day.  Praise be to Our Heavenly Father.  I am sure many of you have had similar events occur as well.  There is a saying “commitment is what is left after the emotion of the moment wears off”.  I am fully committed to sowing to THE SPIRIT and becoming fully mature in THE SPIRIT.  I trust those who read these blogs share the same commitment.

We are called to be generous as we have the opportunity for as THE SPIRIT states “let us do good to all”.  As we seek out opportunities FATHER will bring forth resources to whom HE can trust to carry out this directive.  THE SPIRIT further states to be especially generous toward “those who are of the household of faith”.  In verse 6 THE SPIRIT wrote:

6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

The KJV states “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.”  This word “communicate” is defined as:

  1. to come into communion or fellowship with, to become a sharer, be made a partner

  2. to enter into fellowship, join one’s self to an associate, make one’s self a sharer or partner

When you and I become partners, unity begins to form between us and I cannot overstate the importance of continued fellowship among those who seek to be in fully unity.  FATHER is not looking for “lone rangers” but is expecting the Body of Christ to have all of its members in communicating and communion with other members.  We should seek partners and allow sharing in all good things to come forth. We must exercise our faith in providing whatever needs to be supplied for sharing.  You may seek out a partner and be the more mature of the two.  Your opportunity is to help the other partner grow to a more mature state of walking  by faith in Love.

In Galatians chapter 5 THE SPIRIT wrote:

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Giving and receiving is all part of being led by THE SPIRIT and it is just as important to receive as it is to give.  FATHER gave HIS SON thus HE gave us the ultimate example of being a giver.  Shouldn’t HIS mature sons and daughters reflect HIS character in this area as well?  Some of you may say “I don’t have the finances to give” but I say look at what you have such as an encouraging word, giving of time, etc.  Many Americans put their excess in storage and pay a monthly fee rather than asking THE SPIRIT “Who needs this possession that I no longer have use for?”  If you haven’t used a possession for an extended period of time, go bless someone who has the need.

We are to serve one another and it goes both ways.  It is my heartfelt desire to bless you with these writings, hoping that they help in maturing the sons and daughters of FATHER.  I am thankful for the prayers and words of encouragement I receive from time to time.  About the time I wonder if these writings are impacting anyone, I receive an encouraging communication.  However FATHER always takes up the slack and assures me that it is HIS Will for these writing to go forth and be published for the benefit of those WHOM HE directs to this site.

I start each day by giving FATHER the firstfruits of the day.  HE honors my commitment by directing me what to study and write.  Some days it is in depth and other days it is short and simple.  Either way, I am good for I purpose to be led by HIS SPIRIT in all things.  Let this be an encouragement to you to not grow weary in well doing and let FATHER take care of the times and seasons issue.

THE SPIRIT wrote in Galatians chapter 4:

8 But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods.

9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

10 You observe days and months and seasons and years.

11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.

I say again, do not grow weary in well doing and be blessed this day!
