In Luke chapter 23 while Jesus was yet on the cross He ministered life:
39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”
40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”
42 Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.”
This passage makes it clear that even at the point of death there will be those who are still blinded by their own ego. You will notice that Jesus did not respond and speak to that man but instead He assured the other man who could “see” eternity while on the footsteps of the door to physical death. Jesus was not moved by man’s decision to evoke the death sentence on this criminal neither was He moved by what the criminal had done to justify the penalty. Instead, Jesus looked beyond the current circumstances and assured the man of eternal life. We too must look beyond our current circumstance and trust FATHER’S ability to see us through.
No matter what situation you are in, FATHER can reveal HIS Divine Intent to you. Here we find a man getting ready to die a gruesome death and he has just received a revelation concerning Jesus Christ. We must never consider it to be too late for anyone to receive Christ in their hearts and be assured that FATHER will minister Love even to those on their deathbeds. Let us walk in this assurance each and every day.
Jesus referred to FATHER’S Kingdom as Paradise, not some holding area. Jesus knew He was going to transition into the Kingdom upon the completion of the work at the cross. Further He knew that the criminal would be allowed into the Kingdom. This in itself indicates that any hindrance to residing in FATHER’S Kingdom would be resolved by the cleansing and purging of lawlessness in one’s heart even if it took place after physical death.
Jesus had a brief encounter with a man while in the midst of excruciating pain yet Love still prevailed. Our Elder Brother never let an opportunity to minister Love pass Him up. Can you imagine being in the midst of a crisis and FATHER empowering you with HIS anointing to minister life to others? What a testimony for all to embrace!
Paul also spoke of Paradise in 2 Corinthians chapter 12. By THE SPIRIT he wrote:
1 Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows—
4 was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.
5 On behalf of such a man I will boast; but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in regard to my weaknesses.
6 For if I do wish to boast I will not be foolish, for I will be speaking the truth; but I refrain from this, so that no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me.
No matter what your history FATHER will ultimately allow access to HIM and you will be able to hear mysteries found in the third heaven. As we continue to press in and take on HIS Divine Intent of Love, we open ourselves up to these mysteries. We should expect to hear FATHER’S Words appropriate for our situation, even to the extreme. HE is not moved by circumstances as HE will prevail in our lives wherever we find ourselves. Let us walk each day in this assurance.
