An heir is one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship. You can be assured that when a parent dies and the will is read, the heirs do not want to delay in receiving their allotments directed to them by the will. If there are funds in the bank and they prove their identity to the bank officer, they will immediately receive their portion of the funds authorized by the testator. A testator is a person who has written and executed a last will and testament that is in effect at the time of his/her death.
You and I are joint heirs in Jesus Christ and this mystery was unveiled by Jesus to the apostles and prophets for our benefit. Paul wrote of this revealed mystery in Ephesians chapter 3:
1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—
2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,
4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel
You and I have an inheritance that is awaiting our action to claim our allotment. We don’t need to go to court and present arguments for our rightful inheritance but instead we should simply possess what is ours. There are no further conditions to be met for FATHER has already paved The Way for us to receive our blessed inheritance. The issue is that we have yet to fully embrace what is ours. Had I not gone to the bank when my Mom died and presented my proof of claim, my inheritance would still be sitting there unused as though there was no inheritance. It would have benefitted no one. You must realize you have an inheritance and then lay claim to it, receive it, and use it.
Paul further states:
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
We are to be filled with all the fullness of FATHER! You need to quit acting as though some date, court decision, prophecy, or other condition must be met until your inheritance can by realized. The only thing holding us back from our inheritance is US! We have been blinded to the revelation of this mystery of inheritance by those who promote conditional Love because they have yet to comprehend the mystery of Divine Unconditional Love. Let this mystery be fully revealed to us in its fullness so that we can embrace being joint heirs.
All of the resources of Heaven are at our disposal as we walk in Divine Unconditional Love thus let us therefore walk in unfettered access to our inheritance. Until we embrace the revelation of our inheritance, those resources will simply await our rightful claim.
