Revelation 19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Was there every any question whether Our Heavenly Father would be victorious? After all, HE created Heaven, earth, and all that is contained therein. The Creator is supreme to the created and HIS Divine Love oversaw all the events that were to come to pass.
The restoration of mankind is a three-step process: spirit, soul, and finally body. Each of the three feasts focus on a different aspect of this restoration: salvation (Passover), sanctification (Pentecost), and glorification (Tabernacles). This Fifth Gospel of “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” has been prophesying these three processes and providing us understanding of the battles and victories being achieved as we are about to close the Age of Pentecost. By HIS Divine Plan, the Sons have been born out of the church and separated out for HIS conscription into the Army of Jesus Christ. These overcomers are full of Love and understand their mission and thus serve at the pleasure of FATHER. They are becoming “one” with HIM, day by day, moment by moment.
FATHER’S Glory and Power is now expressed in full appreciation by the multitudes in all nations and tongues. HIS Glory is now been revealed and accepted by HIS Bride, the true church, the New Jerusalem. First HIS Glory is revealed in Jesus, then the Sons, now the church who is clean and bright without spot or wrinkle. This bride has been a long time coming but now the marriage supper is at hand. Just as Esther was prepared during two separate periods, one with oil of myrrh, and another period with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women, the bride of Christ went through two “ages” of preparation. Upon Esther’s time of preparation, the day of acceptance finally came where she was accepted, loved, and a marriage feast was called forth:
Esther 2:17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
18 Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther…
The Bride of Jesus Christ is made up of those who are fitly joined together and have received the revelation of HIS Love. “Not my will, but YOUR Will be done” is their declaration upon full submission to HIM. The harlot who would attempt to be the substitute for HIS Bride has now been removed from the picture. The marriage of the spirit and soul is at hand. The body will soon follow, completing the glorification process. The betrothal period is finished and the Bride is now ready for the presentation to the Groom. The Bride takes on the name and character of the Husband. She gives up her own identity and accepts His. They become “one” and she is the recipient of HIS Life and responds to His Intent and direction.
In the parable of the Wedding Feast found in Matthew chapter 22, Jesus shared the reality that only those who are available and have on their wedding garments (robes of righteousness) are welcomed to the glorious feast.
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
I believe those who met the requirements are the overcomers who have joined FATHER around HIS Throne. They will be the among the participants of the long awaited Wedding Feast. Only those who FATHER knows are invited to share this great time of celebration. They have been cleansed, purified, and perfected by the Living Word and are able to put on the robe of righteousness. There are those who focused on being prepared, and others who simply were distracted on the temporal things of man. The latter did not attend.
John was overwhelmed and fell at the feet of the messenger to worship him. Immediately, the messenger responded “Don’t worship me”. We must remember to not worship the “created”. This includes Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was a submitted vessel with a calling just like the rest of us. This is why she told the servants at the Wedding feast of Cana:
John 2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
This wedding feast of Cana is found only in the Beloved Disciple’s first Gospel of Love. It was a type and shadow of this wedding feast John is now seeing by the Spirit in the Third Heaven. Jesus and His disciples were invited to the initial wedding just as the overcomers were invited to this final wedding feast. The feast at Cana ran out of wine for Tabernacles had not yet been fulfilled. Jesus had to turn the 153 gallons of water into wine so that it could be served to the attendees. Under the command of Jesus Christ, the very elect lead the overcomers into the fullness of Tabernacles where there will be no scarcity of wine for the harvest of Tabernacles is the grape. There will be no lack of wine to celebrate the Bridegroom and His spotless Bride.
