Good, Acceptable, and Perfect Will

Romans 12:2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The three major feasts of the year are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles.  The bread of Passover is unleavened bread and it corresponds to the “good” will of Our Heavenly Father.  When the earth was created, it was called “good”.  When leaving Egypt or the world influence, this is also good.  The next feast is Pentecost and the bread of Pentecost was leavened.

Lev 23:17   You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the LORD.

Leaven is associated with sin and the doctrine of the Pharisees.  The Age of Pentecost has been know for sin in the church and when Our Heavenly Father gave the Law at Mount Sinai, sin became exposed.  The Law provided a means to judge ourselves of our lawlessness.  Our flesh needed to be exposed so that it could be dealt with.  Without the Law, there would be no righteous standard to judge fruit against.  The Law of equal weights and measures provides a standard by which all actions can be compared.  Our Heavenly Father knew that this period would be one of failure and would require a maturing process with some painful lessons to be learned.  Some would die in the wilderness due to their unbelief for faith cometh by hearing and responding according to HIS Word.  The faithless generation would not enter the Promised Land.  Yes there are giants in the Promised Land but those giant pale in comparison to Our Heavenly Father’s ability to deliver.  During this time we operated in HIS acceptable will during the training phase.  Acceptable relates closely with meeting minimum requirements but there is a higher calling.

The third feast is the fall feast of Tabernacles.  Once again unleavened bread is used.  There is no sin found in the bread to be offered.  This feast represents the maturing of the saints who are now able to walk in the Perfect Will.  This perfection comes through the revelation of Love.  Perfection only occurs after the refining by fire occurs and there is a purity of intent found in the heart.  The apparent harsh training brings forth a mature son who knows the character of Our Heavenly Father and can properly represent HIM in all matters of importance.  The son has been tutored through the maturing process by The Most Holy Spirit.  The taking of the Promised Land requires a circumcision process to occur, a process known for its pain.  That process requires time to be healed and until then you are not ready for battle.  Though you were allowed to be in an uncircumcised state during the training phase in the wilderness, the taking of the Promised Land requires a higher level of commitment.  The flesh needed to be removed from you.  To go from good to acceptable to perfect is not for everyone.  Yes, many are called but few are chosen to walk in the Perfect Will.  As the Love is perfected in you, the fear of the giants will no longer be an issue:

1 John 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
