Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 14:
1 Pursue Love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
2 For he who speaks in a Tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
4 He who speaks in a Tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
5 I wish you all spoke with Tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.
Revelation doesn’t impart; it invites. When we receive revelation, we have a responsibility to seek the Face of GOD regarding that revelation. The revelation has a goal to ultimately build up the ekklesia and establish the Kingdom of GOD on the earth.
FATHER is THE GOD WHO transforms, to be known by men. We are intended to know HIS ways and the world will respond by seeing HIS acts through us. When they see those acts, they will marvel and be amazed. Why? They will realize that they have lived in the world of inferior and we have introduced them to the superior.
Our pursuit of Spiritual gifts is essential to spreading The Gospel. Those gifts provide credibility to our message. Otherwise, people will simply hear another theology.
When you know the Truth, it’s experiential knowledge of the Truth that sets a person free. Every Commandment THE LORD gives us leads to freedom. There are no Commandments that are punishment, nor do they restrict us from Life. They restrict us from the things that kill, steal, and destroy.
When THE LORD speaks to us, HE’S setting boundaries for our behavior so that we will experience HIM more fully and know what true freedom is.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 3:
15 So until now, whenever the Old Testament is being read, the same blinding comes over their hearts.
16 But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see.
17 Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever He is Lord, there is freedom.
18 We can all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very Image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, Who is the Spirit.
What does it mean for HIM to be Lord over us? It is when we surrender to HIM and walk in obedience to what The Holy Spirit directs us to say and do.
In Ephesians chapter 2:
2 You once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace (enablement) in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
We are intended to fulfill good works that GOD prepared us for beforehand. Pursue HIS gifts that you may fulfill HIS Will and produce good works.
