We have a choice to be free from the devil!
Religion does not set us free, The Word of GOD that we embrace sets us free.
Jesus spoke in John chapter 8:
31 Jesus said to those Jews who believed in Him, “When you continue to embrace all that I teach, you prove that you are My true followers.
32 For if you abide (embrace) in the Truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.”
33 Surprised by this, they said, “But we’re the descendants of Abraham and we’re already free. We’ve never been in bondage to anyone. How could you say that we will be released into more freedom?”
34 “I speak Eternal Truth,” Jesus said. “When you sin you are not free. You’ve become a slave in bondage to your sin.
35 And slaves have no permanent standing in a family, like a son does, for a son is a part of the family forever.
36 So if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free!
The word “abide” signifies more than just staying; it often denotes a deep, spiritual dwelling, a connection, and a dependence on God or Christ. It can mean to remain in a place, endure, wait, or maintain a relationship. The concept of abiding is particularly emphasized in the context of being in Christ, emphasizing a continual and intimate relationship.
It is imperative that we know The Truth in Scripture rather than simply relying on someone to insert his or her opinion of what The Truth is. Each of us is responsible for searching out the Scriptures so that we know The Truth which sets us free.
The Truth will make you free and keep you free. As we immerse ourselves in The Word, our faith to carry out Jesus’ commands will materialize to such a degree that we will confidently pray for the sick and see good fruit.
Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 28:
30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,
31 preaching the Kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.
As The Word truly abides in you, you will have the confidence and the boldness to minister anywhere, any time. Paul walked in such confidence and boldness as he preached and fulfilled the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:
14 So I kneel humbly in Awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,
15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth.
16 And I pray that He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His Divine might and explosive power.
FATHER wants to flood us with HIS Divine might and explosive power. It is our choice to accept and embrace this Truth.
17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His Love will become the very source and root of your life.
We are to walk by faith and preach The Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons without reservation. That is what a mature son and daughter is supposed to do.
18-19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every Holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing Love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His Love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless Love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant Love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!
We walk out our calling by Love, not duty.
20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you.
We are called to walk in the supernatural and not accept scarcity that the world promotes. As we walk out our calling in Love, we are free, and the devil will cease his attempts to divert us from the Great Commission. He will focus on those who are weak and immature.
