Breakthrough comes through brokenness!
Brokenness refers to a state of humility, remorse, and a recognition of one’s own sinfulness and need for God’s grace, often leading to repentance and a renewed relationship with Him. It is vital to recognize our need to be able to cry out effectively to FATHER. Those who don’t think they have any needs will not change and mature in THE SPIRIT.
Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:
3 “Blessed are the poor (humble) in spirit, For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Genesis chapter 7:
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.
In the Old Testament, the rain was destruction, in the New Testament the rain was and is for construction.
Habakkuk prophesied in Habakkuk chapter 2:
14 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.
When the Kingdom of GOD fully manifests on earth, HIS Glory will fill the earth as the fountains of the deep and the rain from above covered the earth in Noah’s time. Wickedness will be removed from the earth.
As we desire more of GOD to come forth on Heaven, in essence we metaphorically create a stairway to Heaven to bring forth HIS Glory on earth.
Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Genesis chapter 28:
10 Jacob left Beersheba and journeyed toward Haran.
11 He encountered a certain place at sunset and camped there for the night. He took a stone from there, made it his pillow, and lay down to sleep.
12 He had a dream of a stairway securely fixed on the earth and reaching into Heaven. And there were messengers of God ascending and descending on the stairway.
13 And YAHWEH stood beside him and said to him, “I am YAHWEH, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. You are lying on the very ground that I will give to you and your descendants.
14 They will become as numerous as the specks of dust on the earth, and they will extend their territory in all directions. Through you and your descendants, I will bless the whole world.
15 Never forget—I am always with you and will protect you wherever you go. And one day I will bring you back to this land, for I will neither leave you nor fail to fulfill every Word I have promised you.”
16 When Jacob awoke from his dream, he was overcome with awe and said, “YAHWEH is here! He is in this place and I didn’t realize it!”
17 Terrified and overwhelmed, he said, “How awesome is this place! I have stumbled right into the House of God! This place is a portal, the very gate of Heaven!”
Notice that once Jacob realized that he was in the Presence of THE LORD, he was overcome with awe, terrified and overwhelmed.
18 Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.
19 And he called the name of that place Bethel (The House of GOD); but the name of that city had been Luz (separation, departure) previously.
20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,
21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God.
22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s House, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.“
Before The Law, Jacob honored the tithe as did Abraham.
How hungry are you for more of GOD? Are you willing to empty yourself to make more room for HIM? Are you willing to give up the past and all its trappings?
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 2:
6 Jesus existed in the form of God, yet He gave no thought to seizing equality with God as His supreme prize.
7 Instead he emptied Himself of his outward glory by reducing Himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human!
8 He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!
9 Because of that obedience, God exalted Him and multiplied His greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!
Let us empty ourselves and take on the mindset of obedient, mature servants to bring forth FATHER’S Divine Intent.
