Expecting Excellence

Once you are walking in the Fear of THE LORD, your level of Wisdom increases to a productive level on behalf of The Kingdom!

Who was the first known person to be expressly filled with THE SPIRIT of GOD?

Moses wrote by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 31:

1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in Wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

The name Bezaleel means “in the shadow (i.e. protection) of God”.  What was his purpose?

4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,

5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.

6 “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put Wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

Do you think that Our Heavenly Father would manifest HIMSELF in an average dwelling place?  Does this reveal the expectation of Our Heavenly Father and what HE expects of us when we seek to enter into HIS Presence?

Many church congregations have become casual in their “praise and worship” services.  People wear tennis shoes and jeans with “cuts” in them rather than presenting themselves in an acceptable attire.  They use light shows and manufactured smoke to simulate the Presence of The Holy Spirit.  Some churches hand out earplugs because their music is so loud.  I can assure you that FATHER is not hard of hearing!  Don’t get me wrong, whatever you have as your “best” is acceptable to FATHER, not your “average”.

Recently, the Ukrainian president came to the White House in a track suit to meet with our President.  He disrespected the office of The President and was soon ushered out.  If he disrespected a world leader, how much more do we disrespect The Creator of Heaven and earth when we attempt to bring forth HIS Presence in a casual atmosphere!

Bezaleel was given The SPIRIT of GOD so that he could excel in all manner of workmanship.  True craftsmen of THE LORD will create the Holy Tabernacle and its contents with superior craftsmanship.  Anything less is unacceptable.  Settling for the inferior is not allowed.

Moses recorded what he saw in Exodus chapter 24:

9Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His Feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very Heavens in its clarity.

FATHER would not step on the dirt of the earth.  Instead, HE required a sapphire floor.  Cost or value is not an issue with HIM for HE has unlimited resources at HIS disposal.

John, the Beloved Disciple recorded what he saw by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 4:

2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a Throne set in Heaven, and One sat on the Throne.

3 And He Who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

4 Around the Throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

5 And from the Throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the Throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

6 Before the Throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the Throne, and around the Throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

It is also recorded by The Holy Spirit in Ezekiel chapter 1:

26 High on the platform over their heads, I saw something that looked like a beautiful Throne made of sapphire. And high above on the Throne was One Who had the form of a man.

Should we be dressing up to go before the Presence of THE LORD or dressing down?  The answer is obvious.  HE knows your intent and that is what counts.  Your intent is an expression of where you stand in walking in the Fear of THE LORD.
