Jesus walked on earth as a man in complete humanity, not as GOD!
Jesus was our Perfect Example because He took on all the attributes of flesh and blood and left His Heavenly position for our benefit.
The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 13:
1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having Loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,
3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,
Jesus was well aware of His relationship with FATHER during His earthly ministry.
Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 22:
39 Jesus left the upper room with his disciples and, as was his Habit, went to the Mount of Olives, His place of secret prayer.
40 There He told the apostles, “Keep praying for strength to be spared from the severe test of your faith that is about to come.”
41 Then He withdrew from them a short distance to be alone. Kneeling down, he prayed,
42 “Father, if You are willing, take this cup of agony away from Me. But no matter what, Your Will must be Mine.”
43 Jesus called for an angel of glory to strengthen Him, and the angel appeared.
44 He prayed even more passionately, like one being sacrificed, until He was in such intense agony of Spirit that His sweat became drops of blood, dripping onto the ground.
45 When Jesus finished praying, He got up and went to His disciples and found them all asleep, for they were exhausted and overwhelmed with sorrow.
46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “You need to be alert and pray for the strength to endure the great temptation.”
Since Jesus came in human form, He had to pray just like you and me. If He was walking as GOD, he would not need to be strengthened by an angel. He was tempted by the devil just like us.
Our whole sense of identity and purpose is gained by our understanding that Jesus was totally subject to the same issues we deal with on a daily basis. This is why He is the Perfect Example to follow and allows us to mature in the same manner.
We should have no doubt about being able to fulfill His commands. His Example is meant to change the way we perceive Life, and we are to adjust our mindsets and expectations to walk as He walked, trusting in and relying on FATHER. We are to walk in His identity with a whole sense of purpose and destiny.
It is written by The Holy Spirit in Jeremiah chapter 24:
6 For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up.
7 Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.
FATHER has given you and me a heart to know HIM and be a Son of Daughter belonging to HIM. As we know HIM, we will realize, become aware, that HE has unlimited resources available to us in the same manner as Jesus Who accessed those resources. Jesus turned water into wine, multiplied loaves and fishes to meet the needs of the multitudes, healed the sick, raised the dead, acquired money for taxes…
We have access to those same resources as we accept Jesus as our realistic Example. Jesus never suffered lack in His walk. Jesus was connected to a world that has absolutely no lack but one of extreme abundance.
Return to the above passage:
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His Hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,
Jesus knew that He had access to unlimited resources, all things. As a Son, He had access to FATHER’S Kingdom.
Jesus spoke in John chapter 16:
15 Everything that belongs to the Father belongs to Me—that’s why I say that the Divine Encourager will receive what is Mine and reveal it to you.
We are not meant to be onlookers but rather be partakers in bringing forth The Kingdom of GOD in like manner to that of Jesus. As we are led by The Holy Spirit, the unlimited resources will be fully revealed for our use.
Hebrews 4:15 NKJV
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
