An Example of Deception

Statistics can be deceiving!

There’s an old adage in the accounting circles, “Liars figure, figures lie”.  It is important for us to understand what the world is doing that is affecting many unsuspecting people around the world.

The following is one example of statistical misrepresentation.  You don’t have to understand all of the scientific jargon.  Simply look at the graphs… they tell the story.

The Guardian reported on Lipitor:

None of the current 10 top selling drugs has yet come close to generating the $141bn of revenues racked up over its lifetime by Lipitor for US drug giant Pfizer, according to Simon King, executive editor of FirstWord Pharma.
