The tithe is owned by FATHER, not ours to do with whatever we please!
The tithe honors and worships FATHER at the most personal level but in order to please HIM, you must be a cheerful giver. My wife and I never give out of guilt or duty, and neither should you. These writings are meant to provide you with an understanding of the Kingdom’s economy and how it works. IT IS NOT about extracting your funds for soulish, impure needs or desires.
The revelation of the tithe began in the Garden of Eden.
Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 2:
8 The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
We are not to covet knowledge apart from our relationship with GOD as we are not able to properly handle the knowledge of good and evil. FATHER handles it without issue and communicated HIS ownership by restricting them from HIS tree only HE could eat from without issue. We are made in HIS Image but are not the Original. We are intended to show our dependence on Our Heavenly Father.
Moses also recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 14:
18 And Melchizedek, Who was both a priest of the Most High God and the King of Salem, brought out to Abram bread and wine.
19 He spoke over him a special blessing, saying, “Blessed is Abram by God Most High, Creator of Heaven and earth.
20 And blessed be God Most High, Whose power delivered your enemies into your hands!” Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all he possessed.
What happened after this expression of Worship? FATHER made a covenant with Abram:
In chapter 15:
1 Afterwards, the word of Yahweh came to Abram in a vision and said, “Abram, don’t yield to fear, for I am your Faithful Shield and your Abundant Reward.”
2 But Abram replied, “Lord Yahweh, what good is your reward if I remain childless? I’m about to die without a son, and my servant, Eliezer of Damascus, will inherit all my wealth.
3 A servant in my household will end up with everything because you have not given me any children.”
4 Immediately, the Word of Yahweh came to him: “No! Eliezer will not be your heir. I will give you a son from your own body to be your heir.”
5 Then Yahweh brought him outside his tent and said, “Gaze into the night sky. Go ahead and try to count the stars.” He continued, “Your seed will be as numerous as the stars!”
6 And Abram trusted every Word Yahweh had spoken! And because of his faith, Yahweh credited it to him as righteousness.
When we give, we affirm our Covenant with Our Heavenly Father by giving HIM the tithe thus acknowledging that the tithe is HIS in the first place. The tithe establishes our true relationship and trust as Sons and Daughters.
