Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Timothy chapter 1:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare<\/strong>, 19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck<\/p>\n\n\n\n FATHER\u2019S Perfect Will for you and me requires us to wage war against the adversary who seeks to derail our individual callings. The enemy wants us to be passive and effectively do nothing resulting in suffering shipwreck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Doing the Will of FATHER is not effortless. We must submit to FATHER and actively resist the devil. We must be diligent in all areas of our life and obedient to The Holy Spirit\u2019s directives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Walking in FATHER\u2019S Will is planned but we have a part to play in It\u2019s fulfillment. FATHER spoke through Isaiah in chapter 1:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 16 \u200b\u200b\u201cWash yourselves, make yourselves clean;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bPut away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bCease to do evil,<\/p>\n\n\n\n 17 \u200b\u200bLearn to do good;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bSeek justice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bRebuke the oppressor;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bDefend the fatherless,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bPlead for the widow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n 18 \u200b\u200b\u201cCome now, and let us reason together,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bSays the LORD,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200b\u201cThough your sins are like scarlet,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bThey shall be as white as snow;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bThough they are red like crimson,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bThey shall be as wool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 19 \u200b\u200bIf you are willing and obedient<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b\u200bYou shall eat the good of the land\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In order for us to help impoverished kids, the fatherless, and the widows, we must be both willing and obedient. Each month when my wife and I give into Servias, we seek FATHER to instruct us on what to give. We then submit to HIM and give that amount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the years, I have been tested many times about my willingness to give certain amounts into HIS Works here on earth. Many times it stretched my faith but in each instance, HE provided for us and blessed us accordingly. I no longer have resistance to HIS guidance and my faith is operating at a higher level\u2026 thankfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If FATHER\u2019S Will is going to be done on earth, It will happen through HIS Sons and Daughters. We are the ones who are called to bring forth Heaven to earth so we must maintain a life of willingness and obedience to HIS directives. We must become diligent in doing good all the time. We are meant to pursue excellence in our gifts and callings. This requires discipline. Both discipline and obedience are facets of Agape Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you do FATHER\u2019S Will it will likely require sacrifice and sometimes discomfort. It may also seem \u201cinconvenient\u201d to your soul. There are times when obedience is tested by redirecting your steps and postponing your plan for the day. HIS plan is dynamic and requires us to be agile in our responses to The Holy Spirit. The world is broken and people are making decisions affecting the outcome so we must be ready to respond to those decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As The Holy Spirit stated: \u201caccording to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare\u201d. <\/strong>Many have promoted the doctrine that a prophecy from Heaven in unconditional and we simply sit back and wait for it to happen. Not true or Paul would not have mentioned the requirement for waging warfare. Our faith is required when we are given a Word<\/em> concerning our future and it will require a commitment on our part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, Love, patience, gentleness<\/strong>. 12 Fight the good fight of faith<\/strong>, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The word \u201cpursue\u201d is an action verb so let us be active in the pursuit of our individual callings as we respond daily to the leading of The Holy Spirit!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" In order for me to do FATHER\u2019S Will, I must hear, understand, and yield to HIM.
