2\nMy brothers and sisters, when I first came to proclaim to you the secrets of\nGod, I refused to come as an expert, trying to impress you with my eloquent\nspeech and lofty wisdom. 2 For while I was with you I was determined to be\nconsumed with one topic\u2014Jesus, the crucified Messiah. 3 I stood before you\nfeeling inadequate, filled with reverence for God, and trembling under the\nsense of the importance of my words. 4 The message I preached and how I\npreached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to\nprove to you the almighty power of God\u2019s Holy Spirit. 5 For God intended that\nyour faith not be established on man\u2019s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty\npower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\ntoo should be consumed with the one topic of Jesus Christ. It was by FATHER\u2019S resurrection power that our\nfuture is assured. I have no interest in\npersuasive arguments to compel you to take the path known as The Way. Those who seek to be fully led by The Holy\nSpirit will be drawn to this straight and narrow path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\nhave veered off the path at various times in my past because of being deceived\nby those whom I looked up to but The Holy Spirit graciously set me back on the\nright path. Once I realized the fruit in\nmy life had dried up, I repented and reassessed where I went wrong. I removed myself from those environments\nwhich were causing me to walk in error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6\nHowever, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the\nspiritually mature. It\u2019s wisdom that didn\u2019t originate in this present age, nor\ndid it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being\ndethroned. 7 Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes\nfrom God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined\nbefore the ages, to bring us into glory. 8 None of the rulers of this present\nworld order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the\nLord of shining glory. 9 This is why the Scriptures say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things\nnever discovered or heard of before,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
things beyond our ability to imagine\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
these are the many things God has in store<\/p>\n\n\n\n
for all his lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Men\nwill try to justify their thoughts and actions by reasoning in their\nminds. They will build ministries and\nsolicit followers based on their understanding, independent of The Holy\nSpirit. The focus will be on their\nactions rather than Our Lord Jesus Christ. \nHow do we protect ourselves from their logic and reasoning which sounds\ngood but has not fruit? We must be led\nby The Holy Spirit in all matters. Don\u2019t\nexpect this to occur overnight but only by fully committing to this priority of\nbeing led by The Holy Spirit on a daily\nbasis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10\nBut God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has\nrevealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit,\nwho constantly explores all things. 11 After all, who can really see into a\nperson\u2019s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person\u2019s spirit? So\nit is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his\nSpirit, the Spirit of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 12\nFor we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God,\nso that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished\nupon us. 13 And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by\nthe Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together\nSpirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 14\nSomeone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God\u2019s\nSpirit, for they make no sense to him. He can\u2019t understand the revelations of\nthe Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. 15\nThose who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and\nthey are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our\nspirit man has the capacity to hear FATHER and discern every aspect of what we\nhear from others. We must not be moved\nby convincing arguments of man\u2019s reasoning. \nThe Holy Spirit will instruct us from the standpoint of the pure, absolute\nTruth which is only found in Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Should\nwe be critical of those who are speaking out of their soul? No, we should Love them and pray for their\nunderstanding to be enlightened. \nHowever, we must be followers of Christ and not be drawn away by those\nwho exalt anyone else including ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paul\nsaid emphatically \u201cFor as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons\nof God\u201d.
