9\n\u201cI love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must\ncontinually let my love nourish your hearts. 10 If you keep my commands, you\nwill live in my love, just as I have kept my Father\u2019s commands, for I\ncontinually live nourished and empowered by his love. 11 My purpose for telling\nyou these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts\nwith overflowing gladness!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12\n\u201cSo this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. 13\nFor the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love\nis demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
14\n\u201cYou show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command\nyou. 15 I have never called you \u2018servants,\u2019 because a master doesn\u2019t confide in\nhis servants, and servants don\u2019t always understand what the master is doing.\nBut I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that\nI\u2019ve heard from my Father. 16 You didn\u2019t choose me, but I\u2019ve chosen and\ncommissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. We join together\nSpirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words. 14 Someone living on an\nentirely human level rejects the revelations of God\u2019s Spirit, for they make no\nsense to him. He can\u2019t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they\nare only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. 15 Those who live in the\nSpirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the\nscrutiny of no one but God. 16 For<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\nhas ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become his\ncounselor?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
