FATHER\nspoke in Jeremiah 29:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
11 \u201c \u2018For I know, ascertaining by what I see,\nthe thoughts and devices I think and account upon, above and over you,\u2019 says\nYHVH, \u2018thoughts and devices of completeness, soundness, welfare and peace, not\nof adversity, displeasure and misery; to set in place and give the cord of hope\nand expectation for your posterity and the future you long for.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nabove passage expresses FATHER\u2019S Divine Intent of Love toward us. In addition, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2\nCorinthians chapter 5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
17\nTherefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed\naway; behold, all things have become new. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
18\nNow all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus\nChrist, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FATHER\u2019S\nLove toward us promotes completeness, soundness, welfare and peace but the\nadversary tries to convince us of the opposite by bringing up our past failures\nso that we will dwell on them rather than focus on the reality of being a new\ncreation IN HIM. It doesn\u2019t matter how\nlong you have been a believer, the devil will bring up your past failures\nhoping to redirect your attention away from Jesus Christ and His Blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nbattlefield is the mind and this is why we must renew our minds as Paul wrote\nby THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 12:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\nI beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your\nbodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable\nservice. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the\nrenewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and\nperfect will of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\nis not a one-time event. As we interact\nwith the world on a daily basis, we must protect our mind from the subtlety of\nworld\u2019s impact on our thinking. What we\nsee and hear enters our consciousness and if left unchecked, we will lose our\nfocus on what really matters\u2026 The Word and Its benefits. It can easily turn into a battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As\nwe ponder what the world deems relevant, our past will creep in and try to take\nhold in our mind. Our past looks for any\nweakness in our walk and wants to take up residence thus keeping us from fully\nembracing the promises found in The Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My\npast will tell me \u201cyou are not worthy for this promise because you committed\nthis sin or act of lawlessness.\u201d Another\nploy is to bring up the generational curse issue as though the Blood of Jesus\nChrist is insufficient to break such a curse. \n\u201cIt\u2019s in your DNA and you can\u2019t help it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis written by THE SPIRIT in Ezekiel 18:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
19\n\u201cYet you say, \u2018Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?\u2019 Because\nthe son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and\nobserved them, he shall surely live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
20\nThe soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father,\nnor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the\nrighteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon\nhimself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those\nwho have preached generational sin messages failed to include this passage thus\nleaving us to believe that we have a major challenge as we look at our own\nfamily history. The Blood of Jesus\nChrist is fully effective in all cases of past sins and lawlessness. Our DNA was not omitted from being impacted\nby His Blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul\nexpressed the importance of fighting failure when he wrote by THE SPIRIT in\nEphesians chapter 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
13\nTherefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in\nthe evil day, and having done all, to stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
14\nStand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the\nbreastplate of righteousness, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
15\nand having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
16\nabove all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all\nthe fiery darts of the wicked one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
17\nAnd take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the\nword of God; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
18\npraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful\nto this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nhelmet of salvation is meant to protect our minds from the evils of the\npast. As we stand on the Truth of The\nWord, we will defeat our past failures and finally accept the reality that we\nare indeed a new creation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
