Jeremiah 9:23 Thus says the LORD:<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u201cLet not the wise man<\/em> glory in his wisdom,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bLet not the mighty man<\/em> glory in his might,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bNor let the rich man<\/em> glory in his riches;<\/p>\n 24 \u200b\u200bBut let him who glories glory in this,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bThat he understands and knows Me,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bThat I am<\/em> the LORD, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bFor in these I delight,\u201d says the LORD.<\/p>\n There are those who \u201cbelieve\u201d HE is and there are others who know HE is and I fall into the latter group. There are those who believe FATHER can heal but I know HE heals at a personal level. In 1984 I contracted hepatitis from shellfish, specifically shrimp I had eaten at the Hilton Hotel in New Jersey while on a business trip. It turned out to be the worst case the doctor had seen. I sought FATHER about why I got sick since I had been believing HIM for Divine health and HE replied \u201cYou are void of My Word.\u201d Huh? I studied Scripture, read Christian books, listened to teaching tapes yet I was void of HIS Word? HE responded, \u201cWhen was the last time you studied My Word in the area of healing?\u201d Oops, too long.<\/p>\n Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are<\/em> noble, whatever things are<\/em> just, whatever things are<\/em> pure, whatever things are<\/em> lovely, whatever things are<\/em> of good report, if there is<\/em> any virtue and if there is<\/em> anything praiseworthy\u2014meditate on these things<\/u>. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.<\/p>\n FATHER\u2019s Word has the power within itself to cause itself to come to pass and I had not exercised faith in the area of health and healing for some time. We can become dull of hearing if we allow ourselves to become lazy in meditating on the wondrous works of Our Heavenly Father. We can get caught up with our daily affairs and forget the importance of meditating on HIS Word day and night.<\/p>\n Romans 10:17 So then faith comes<\/em> by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD.<\/p>\n I repented of my failure to meditate on HIS Word in this crucial area. In response, HE instructed me to focus on healing Scriptures, read Healing the Sick<\/em> by T.L. Osborn, and listen to a tape on \u2018healing\u2019 that I had in my library. In 11 days I was cured of hepatitis. The doctor had expected it to take at least 8 weeks to recover (if I didn\u2019t die first). I learned a valuable lesson- You can\u2019t operate in faith unless you know HIM in the area of your need. HE and HIS WORD are ONE. If you don\u2019t know HIM as your Healer, you will probably not be made whole beyond the natural means. If you don\u2019t know HIM as your Provider, then you will only do as well as your financial value to the current system.<\/p>\n My doctor could not explain the miracle but did not want to discuss the Spiritual. The people I worked with were surprised and amazed. Most of all, I was grateful for HIS loving kindness toward me. Some people believe HE is a Healer, I know HE is. As Psalm 103 declares:<\/p>\n 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bAnd all that is within me, bless<\/em> His holy name!<\/p>\n 2 \u200b\u200bBless the LORD, O my soul,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bAnd forget not all His benefits:<\/p>\n 3 \u200b\u200bWho forgives all your iniquities,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bWho heals all your diseases<\/u>,<\/p>\n 4 \u200b\u200bWho redeems your life from destruction,<\/p>\n \u200b\u200bWho crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,<\/p>\n 5 \u200b\u200bWho satisfies your mouth with good things,<\/em><\/p>\n \u200b\u200bSo that<\/em> your youth is renewed like the eagle\u2019s.<\/p>\n Jesus Who is the expressed character of FATHER confirmed FATHER\u2019S Divine Intent of Love by doing the same:<\/p>\n Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people<\/u>.<\/p>\n In addition, Jesus empowered the disciples:<\/p>\n Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him<\/em> his twelve disciples, he gave them power against<\/em> unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease<\/u>.<\/p>\n As we take on the fullness of FATHER\u2019S Divine Nature, we should expect the same opportunity and results.
