Resistance and adversity are invitations for breakthroughs and advancement in The Kingdom!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As overcomers, we must change our mindset to embrace adversity.  We tend to see adversity differently than THE LORD does.  If I am not positioned well in what I am willing to speak, confess, and declare over my life, then I can actually partner in thought and in conversation with the enemy\u2019s reason for sending the adverse winds.  I actually empower what the enemy meant for evil, and it will suddenly have the effect of destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The enemy has no authority over you or me.  We have the authority, and we are not to give the enemy authority by our words, confessions, or declarations.  Don\u2019t bow your head to adversity, do not accept defeat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King David wrote by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 24:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of Eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for He is about to come through you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 You ask, \u201cWho is this King of Glory?\u201d YAHWEH, armed and ready for battle, YAHWEH, invincible in every way<\/u>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you Eternal doors! Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 You ask, \u201cWho is this King of Glory?\u201d He is YAHWEH, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, the invincible Commander of Heaven\u2019s hosts<\/strong>! Yes, He is the King of Glory! Pause in His Presence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus is The Lion of Judah, and a lion doesn\u2019t cower when challenged by an adversary, neither should we.  We need to be ready for battle.  King David was made ready for battle against Israel\u2019s adversaries even as he tended sheep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st<\/sup> Samuel chapter 17:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the Living God<\/strong>?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David was not intimidated by Goliath, and neither should we be intimidated by our own Goliaths who appear bigger than life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David reflects back on his past challenges with the lion and bear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the Living God.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

37 Moreover David said, “The LORD, Who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”<\/strong> And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should refer back to past deliverances and expect Our Heavenly Father to deliver us as we face our current challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King David also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 34:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshua, as well as David, was a type and shadow of an overcomer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE LORD spoke to Joshua in Joshua chapter 1:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are to take ground for The Kingdom no matter what resistance or adversity we encounter!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
