Hallowed be THY NAME!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Jesus was asked by His disciples how to pray to THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in Heaven<\/u><\/strong>, Hallowed be Your Name<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 Your Kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 Give us this day our daily bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus invites us to have the same relationship with THE FATHER that He has: Abba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word hallowed <\/em>means: to show honor as being Sacred or majestic; to observe as Holy: One Who is totally pure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who deserves our total and complete worship, honor, and praise?  Certainly not a manmade object.  Who deserves to be honored and exalted more than Our Heavenly Father?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 113:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, Praise the Name of the LORD!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forevermore!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 From the rising of the sun to its going down The LORD’s Name is to be praised.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on High,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other Words, HE stoops down to look upon the sky and the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can do the following besides Our Heavenly Father:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 That He may seat him with princes- With the princes of His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The issue at hand with most church congregations is they don\u2019t have the Fear of THE LORD and treat Our Heavenly Father in a casual manner.  HE deserves our utmost worship and honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is Holy ground.”<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would happen if THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY manifested HIS Presence in front of you?  Isaiah provides us with perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a Throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the Temple<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Above It stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD of hosts<\/u>; The whole earth is full of His glory!”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is vital that we understand and acknowledge the Holiness of Our Heavenly Father.  We are not to treat HIM in a casual manner but with complete honor and reverence, in Holy Awe!  Jesus gave us this command.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
