{"id":11910,"date":"2025-03-06T03:17:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T09:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/servias.org\/?p=11910"},"modified":"2025-02-21T07:18:13","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T13:18:13","slug":"growth-requires-pruning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/servias.org\/?p=11910","title":{"rendered":"Growth Requires Pruning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><em>Once trust in THE LORD is settled, you can be entrusted with your Promised Land!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of us has a Promised land specific to our individual callings.&nbsp; What is preventing us from entering in?&nbsp; Trust.&nbsp; Trust is firm belief in the reliability, Truth, ability, and strength of The Lord God Almighty.&nbsp; You look nowhere else for your guidance and protection.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The children of Israel who left Egypt, except for two, did not learn their lesson.&nbsp; They went around the mountain for forty years in the midst of constant miracles and the Presence of GOD, yet they just didn\u2019t get it!&nbsp; Their lack of trust caused them to die off in the wilderness, a few short miles from The Promised Land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All growth is rewarded with pruning and all death is rewarded with resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 \u201cI am a True sprouting Vine, and the Farmer Who tends the Vine is My Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 He cares for the branches connected to Me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and <strong>pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You and I are meant to progressively produce more fruit on behalf of The Kingdom of GOD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 <strong>The Words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 So you must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in Life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the Vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don\u2019t bear fruit, judgment will prevail in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 \u201cI am the sprouting Vine and you\u2019re My branches. As you live in union with Me as your Source, fruitfulness will stream from within you\u2014but <strong>when you live separated from me <u>you are powerless<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are to be co-laborers with Christ in all that we say and do.&nbsp; He is our only Source of Life and power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6 If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who live separated from Christ will suffer a fiery judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7 <strong>But if you live in Life-union with Me and if My Words live powerfully within you\u2014then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We must fully embrace the Words of Jesus to expect successful answers to prayer.&nbsp; When we are in Life-union with Him, we will not ask amiss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8 <strong><u>When your lives bear abundant fruit<\/u><\/strong>, you demonstrate that you are My Mature disciples who glorify My Father!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our fruitfulness is a testimony to our maturity in Christ!&nbsp; When we fully trust His Words, good fruit will manifest, and He will prune us so that we produce greater fruit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 14:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">25 As massive crowds followed Jesus, He turned to them and said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">26 \u201cWhen you follow Me as My disciple, you must put aside your father, your mother, your wife, your sisters, your brothers; it will even seem as though you hate your own life. <strong>This is the price you\u2019ll pay to be considered one of My followers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you willing to forsake all to follow Jesus?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">27 <strong>Anyone who comes to Me must be willing to share My cross and experience it as his own, or he cannot be considered to be My disciple<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">28 <strong><u>So don\u2019t follow Me without considering what it will cost you<\/u><\/strong>. For who would construct a house before first sitting down to estimate the cost to complete it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">29 Otherwise he may lay the foundation and not be able to finish. The neighbors will ridicule him, saying,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">30 \u2018Look at him! He started to build but couldn\u2019t complete it!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">31 \u201cHave you ever heard of a commander who goes out to war without first sitting down with strategic planning to determine the strength of his army to win the war against a stronger opponent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">32 If he knows he doesn\u2019t stand a chance of winning the war, the wise commander will send out delegates to ask for the terms of peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">33 <strong>Likewise, <u>unless you surrender all to Me, giving up all you possess, you cannot be one of My disciples<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ultimate test of True discipleship is trusting HIM and forsaking all aspects of the world.&nbsp; When you fully commit to trust IN HIM, HE will progressively prune you and eliminate unproductive and needless aspects of your life.&nbsp; HIS pruning may be temporarily painful but is necessary to produce a greater harvest of fruit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once trust in THE LORD is settled, you can be entrusted with your Promised Land!
