There is value in delay!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old Testament examples are symbolic pictures, as examples providing us with a warning so that we can learn through what they experienced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To continue from yesterday\u2019s writings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 32:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 And the LORD said to Moses, “Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt<\/u> have corrupted themselves<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 They have turned aside quickly<\/u> out of the way which I commanded them<\/strong>. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, ‘This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notice that THE LORD referred to the children of Israel as Moses\u2019 people.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 And the LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them<\/strong>. And I will make of you a great nation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are things set in motion that THE LORD wants to do when sin manifests.  Sin requires judgment. If there is no one to pray, it will happen.  However, you have the ability to stop what is set in motion by interceding.  Had Moses not interceded for the people, they would have been wiped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 Then Moses pleaded with the LORD his God<\/strong>, and said: “LORD, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt <\/u>with great power and with a Mighty Hand?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, ‘HE brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your Own Self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven; and all this land that I have spoken of I give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 So the LORD relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FATHER will hear our prayers of intercession on behalf of those who are in desperate need of our prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd<\/sup> Peter chapter 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t give up on those who are currently unrepentant.  FATHER is longsuffering.  What does FATHER want, someone to pray!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus interceded for you and me when He spoke in Luke chapter 23:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the Right Hand and the other on the Left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do<\/strong>.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Who died, and furthermore is also risen, Who is even at the Right Hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, it is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 7:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

22 So all of this magnifies the Truth that we have a superior covenant with God than what they experienced, for Jesus Himself is its guarantor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

23 As additional proof, we know there were many priests under the old system, for they eventually died and their office had to be filled by another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

24 But Jesus permanently holds His priestly office, since He lives forever and will never have a successor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 So He is able to save fully from now throughout eternity, everyone who comes to God through Him, because He lives to pray continually for them<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

26 He is the High Priest Who perfectly fits our need\u2014Holy, without a trace of evil, without the ability to deceive, incapable of sin, and exalted beyond the heavens!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When delays occur, don\u2019t be concerned.  Jesus Himself intercedes on our behalf as we are tested so that we will display our trustworthiness to ascend to a higher level of fruitfulness.  Intercession is vital!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
