{"id":10822,"date":"2023-12-28T03:33:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T09:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.servias.org\/?p=10822"},"modified":"2023-12-27T06:48:54","modified_gmt":"2023-12-27T12:48:54","slug":"our-reasonable-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/servias.org\/?p=10822","title":{"rendered":"Our Reasonable Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><em>Is FATHER only interested in having dominion over your spirit?<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1&nbsp; I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that <strong><u>you present your bodies<\/u> a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FATHER wants our bodies too!&nbsp; HE sees it as our <em>reasonable service<\/em>, and if it weren\u2019t possible, HE would not have expressed it.&nbsp; Further, it is our responsibility to take the action, not be passive about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 And do not be conformed to this world, but <strong><u>be transformed by the renewing of your mind<\/u>, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The renewing of your mind is a daily action, not \u201conce and done\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James wrote by The Holy Spirit in his Epistle in chapter 1:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">21&nbsp; Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness <strong><u>the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">22 <strong>But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">23 For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">24 for he observes himself, goes away, <strong><u>and immediately forgets<\/u><\/strong> what kind of man he was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is <strong>not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we don\u2019t renew our minds daily, we are subject to deceiving ourselves as we forget who we are in Christ.&nbsp; Doing the Word strengthens us to the point where we are fully confident of our walk in Christ.&nbsp; Our sensitivity to The Holy Spirit increases to the point where we are fully led by THE SPIRIT in all matters.&nbsp; Our frustrations subside and we will overcome all obstacles placed before us.&nbsp; We will walk in peace while turmoil is found all around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1984, I had been living in a state of Divine health until I contracted hepatitis from shellfish.&nbsp; I had the worst case that the doctor had ever seen\u2026 they thought I was going to die.&nbsp; Yes, I turned yellow.&nbsp; I went to FATHER and complained about the situation.&nbsp; HE responded saying, \u201cYou are void of MY Word.\u201d &nbsp;I replied that I had studied The Word, listened to tapes, read various books by Christian authors, etc.&nbsp; HE responded, \u201cWhen is the last time you studied MY Word in the area of healing?\u201d&nbsp; I replied that I had not in a long time since I was experiencing Divine health\u2026 I repented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HE told me three specific areas to address the issue and I did.&nbsp; I immersed myself in healing Scriptures.&nbsp; In eleven days, I was totally healed.&nbsp; The doctor expected me to be off work for at least six to eight weeks.&nbsp; I learned my lesson concerning renewing my mind in all areas.&nbsp; It was a tough lesson never to be forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I urge you to learn from my mistakes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus spoke in John chapter 17:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">17 <strong><u>Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The word <em>sanctify<\/em> means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to separate from profane things and dedicate to God<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">consecrate things to God<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">dedicate people to God<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to purify<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to cleanse externally<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to purify internally by renewing of the soul<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are made Holy by The Word as we renew our minds daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">25&nbsp; Husbands, Love your wives, just as Christ also Loved the church and gave Himself for her,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">26 <strong><u>that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word<\/u><\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be Holy and without blemish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have been given the path to Holiness, but it is up to each of us to walk out this path.&nbsp; FATHER wants to have complete dominion over our mind as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is FATHER only interested in having dominion over your spirit?
