{"id":10816,"date":"2023-12-25T05:50:11","date_gmt":"2023-12-25T11:50:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.servias.org\/?p=10816"},"modified":"2023-12-23T05:51:01","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T11:51:01","slug":"the-hope-of-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/servias.org\/?p=10816","title":{"rendered":"The Hope Of The World"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><em>Jesus Christ is The Hope of the world!<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David wrote by THE SPIRIT the Golden Psalm chapter 16:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1&nbsp; <strong>Preserve me, O God, for <u>in You I put my trust<\/u>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 O my soul, you have said to the LORD, &#8220;You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 As for the saints who are on the earth, &#8220;They are the excellent ones, in whom is all My delight.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5 O LORD, You are The Portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7 I will bless the LORD Who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8 I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; <strong>My flesh also will rest in hope.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">11 <strong>You will show me the Path of Life; In Your Presence is fullness of joy; At Your Right Hand are pleasures forevermore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the turbulence comes as a raging sea, we are to remain calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 21:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">26 men&#8217;s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">27 <strong>Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and <strong><u>lift up your heads<\/u><\/strong>, <strong>because your redemption draws near (is at hand).<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Scripture, the sea depicts mankind, the sea of humanity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in his Gospel in chapter 8:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">23&nbsp; Now when Jesus got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, &#8220;Lord, save us! We are perishing!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">26 But He said to them, <strong>&#8220;Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?&#8221; <u>Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">27 So the men marveled, saying, &#8220;Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hope is the positive assurance of an expected outcome.&nbsp; Jesus had the assurance that He was not going to die in a boat during a storm.&nbsp; Instead, He took command of the storm and spoke to the wind.&nbsp; Nature responded.&nbsp; We need to rest in that same assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David also wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 31:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">23&nbsp; Oh, Love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person (who reject Him in their pride).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">24 <strong><u>Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our hearts must be rooted and grounded IN HIM for we are to be of good courage during tumultuous times.&nbsp; Our hope and trust are in THE LORD.&nbsp; We should celebrate His birth and most of all His resurrection every day.&nbsp; If we do, peace will prevail in our hearts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">11&nbsp; For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, Who is Christ the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">13 <strong>And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">14 <strong>&#8220;Glory to God in the Highest, <u>And on earth peace, goodwill toward men<\/u>!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lion of Judah and His saints will ultimately bring peace on earth and good hope to all men.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus Christ is The Hope of the world!
