Why my wife and I give tithes and offerings.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9  “As the Father Loved Me, I also have Loved you; abide in My Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 If you keep My Commandments, you will abide in My Love, just as I have kept My Father’s Commandments and abide in His Love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 This is My Commandment, that you Love one another as I have Loved you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 Greater Love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf\u201d is the key to us abiding and allowing His Love to nourish our hearts.  This is how we live <\/em>in His Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

38 \u201cGive, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom wrote by THE SPIRIT in Proverbs chapter 19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17  Every time you give to the poor you make a loan to the Lord. Don\u2019t worry\u2014you\u2019ll be repaid in full for all the good you\u2019ve done.  TPT<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in Proverbs chapter 28:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.<\/strong>  NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus was commanding us in the same manner as Moses wrote by THE SPIRIT in Deuteronomy chapter 28:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1  “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the Voice of the LORD Your God, to observe carefully all His Commandments which I command you today, that the LORD Your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the Voice of the LORD Your God<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus is The Voice of GOD in the Gospels!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul also understood this Commandment as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians 4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15   As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent help more than once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

18 At the moment I have all I need-and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches<\/u>, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus<\/strong>.  NLT<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FATHER looks at our hearts when we give and knows if it is out of Love or out of duty brought on by guilt or coercion.  I have given out of both guilt and coercion in my younger years.  However, I transitioned to giving out of Love and resisting coercion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mostly give to Servias because I know the purity of the purpose.  Our expenses are minimal, and my family\u2019s contributions easily cover those costs.  The latest two books we offer were not funded by your contributions thus allowing all of your giving to be directed to the Kids In Need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My business has funded the web development for FATHER has blessed us accordingly.  None of this disclosure is to exalt me, rather it is to show you the reality and blessings of obeying the Words of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul spoke by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 20:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

32   “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

33 I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the Words of<\/u><\/strong> the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive<\/u><\/strong>.'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul was also sharing the motivation behind giving.\u00a0 You will be blessed in this life when you joyfully give out of Love!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
