You choose your mind-set thus you choose your path into the future.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:
4 So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!
Jesus removed our enslavement to the flesh once and for all. We are totally free to live according to the blessed, dynamic power of The Holy Spirit and these writings are meant to fully express that freedom from sin and death. The reader must heed the Truth and pursue It with all of his or her heart in order to come to full maturity.
5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue Spiritual realities.
6 For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.
Why would anyone choose death? It happens because they choose to submit to the cravings of the flesh rather than discipline the flesh and bring it into full submission. We don’t fast to get FATHER to do something rather we fast to bring our body into submission so that our mind will align with our spirit and release the power that is already in us. Religion would have us believe otherwise.
7 In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot!
8 For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh.
Fighting GOD’S Plan is a losing battle and no one in their right mind would choose such a battle. Only the blind and deaf would take such a path yet there are multitudes who have no eyes to see or ears to hear. They need to be healed of their condition and we have the Christ’s power inside of us to go forth and heal them.
9 But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of Him.
10 Now Christ lives His Life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, His Life-giving Spirit imparts Life to you because you are fully accepted by God.
11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, HE will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!
As you and I bring our bodies into full submission, our dying bodies are raised to life. It is vital that we understand this Truth and reality now, not later.
12 So then, Beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it.
13 For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste His Abundant Life.
14The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.
As for me, I choose abundant life over death thus I focus my mind on The Word and choose to listen to The Holy Spirit throughout each day. I cast down vain imaginations and anything that would exalt itself above The Word.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:
2 Yes, feast on all the Treasures of the Heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with Heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.
Once you taste the Treasures of the Heavenly realm, you will truly want to feast on that realm versus the natural. Our mind-set determines what we will partake of in our walk. After all, HIS Love gives us the right and opportunity to make our own decision.
