Love’s Reward

FATHER is a Rewarder to those who diligently seek HIM.

What parent does not want to reward his or her child for doing the right thing?  We want to reward good behavior so that the child will differentiate right from wrong.  A reward provides an incentive to continue on that path which produces the reward.  It is called a benefit: something that produces good or helpful results or effects or that promotes well-being.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Walking in faith is key to us receiving a reward while walking on this earth.  Enoch realized it and fully enjoyed his time on earth before he was taken without tasting physical death.  Faith and reward go hand in hand.  As we exercise faith in the various areas, we are rewarded in those areas.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

When you and I help kids in need, we receive a reward from FATHER.  This reward is relative to our individual needs AND desires.  Over the years, FATHER has not only met our needs but has blessed my wife and me with bringing forth the desires of our hearts.  Is this any different than what an earthly father would do for his children?  How much more does Our Heavenly Father want to express HIS Love for us!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 9:

16   For you see, even though I proclaim the good news, I can’t take the credit for my labors, for I am compelled to fulfill my duty by completing this work. It would be agony to me if I did not constantly preach the gospel!

17   If it were my own idea to preach as a way to make a living, I would expect to be paid. Since it’s not my idea but God’s, who commissioned me, I am entrusted with the stewardship of the gospel whether or not I’m paid.

18  So then, where is my reward? It is found in continually depositing the good news into people’s hearts, without obligation, free of charge, and not insisting on my rights to be financially supported.

Since FATHER commissioned me to teach by writing these daily blogs, I seek no compensation from readers.  I write to you because I am compelled out of Agape Love to write and deposit the extremely Good News into those willing to hear.  I receive no compensation from Servias nor does anyone else.  Why?  It is to keep this ministry pure in its intent and not allow money to taint The Message.  This is just another expression of faith which FATHER rewards me and my family.  I am elated by words of encouragement where lives are being changed for the better.  As you and I give to the Kids in Need, the teachers and counselors are ministered to as well.  As vessels of distribution to the kids, they too are receiving a reward from Heaven.
