The Feast of Dedication

The Feast of Dedication began on December 21st, 2011, and lasted eight days celebrating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.  Exactly one year later is that long awaited date of 12/21/12, the end of the age according to the Mayan Calendar.  December became an important prophetic month to me in 2005 but it actually started in the 1992 time frame.  Our Heavenly Father moved us to our current house in 1992.  HE had specifically directed me to this house even though I was looking to move to a suburb on the north side of Oklahoma City.  Our Heavenly Father had other plans.  Unknown to us, we took possession of the house on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles in 1992.  I discovered this fact in 1997 during a study of Biblical names and their meanings.  Our Heavenly Father revealed to me that our house address had prophetic significance.  With a street number of 2005, I knew I would wait eight long years to see the prophetic significance of this address.  When the year 2005 arrived, I expected something noteworthy to happen during one of the three major feasts- Passover, Pentecost, or Tabernacles.  Nothing, nada, negatory!

It wasn’t until December did the prophetic event occur.  This is when Our Heavenly Father moved my focus away from the Law and the prophetic cycles to Love.  I had spent a decade focusing on the prior and I suppose I had graduated to the next area of focus.  I am now in my seventh year of this area of focus and I believe this to be the culmination of all the previous studies and focus.  For those who study cycles, this seven year cycle of the Feast of Dedication may unlock some interesting revelation.

The Feast of Dedication is mentioned in John Chapter 10:

22   And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

23   And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

24   Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25   Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

26   But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27   My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28   And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.

29   My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father’s hand.

30   I and [my] Father are one.

Immediately,  the Jews prepared to stone Jesus.  He had just proclaimed himself to be equal to Our Heavenly Father.  Jesus manifested works in “my Father’s name” and those works bore witness of HIS fruit.  Jesus basically said, “Judge the fruit”.  Those that hear HIS voice have eternal life from the Lifegiver.  Our Heavenly Father gave to Jesus those who hear and respond to HIS voice.  As we respond to Our Heavenly Father and are drawn by the Holy Spirit unto HIM, we take on HIS character of Love and become one with HIM.  Our temple is dedicated to HIM and this is the temple HE dedicates and inhabits.  We are worthy because Our Creator has deemed us worthy to be inhabited.  Accept it for we too are one with Our Heavenly Father!
