Prayer is about agreeing with FATHER. There is the known Will of GOD and HE expects us to agree with HIM since we are HIS Vessels in the earth. We are the authority on the earth.
If we don’t pray, things are not going to happen. Also, it we don’t pray, things that we don’t want to happen will happen.
We have to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth. We have a critical part to play in what happens on earth.
Isaiah recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 53:
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
And Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 2:
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Notice that our healing has already occurred in the Spirit realm… from are healed to were healed. It requires us to confess with our mouths in prayer and believe in our hearts in order to accept the reality of our healing in the physical realm, doubting not. Unbelief in The Word is the hindrance to our healing.
The Word needs to reside in our heart rather than just in our mind (head knowledge). This is why we should constantly plant The Word in our hearts AND our minds which will result in consistent fruitfulness. Planting a seed once does not sustain a continual harvest.
FATHER once told me that I was “void” of HIS Word in the area of healing. I had not maintained a fresh study of healing Scriptures and had effectively used up the fruit of past studies in that area. I repented then immersed myself in healing Scriptures and was healed of a life-threatening disease.
Jesus spoke in Matthew 19:
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
We don’t need to ask FATHER if it is HIS Will to be healed. HE clearly states this fact in The Word. Jesus went about healing all except where unbelief existed.
We don’t need to ask FATHER if it is HIS Will for us to have finances. HE also clearly states that it is HIS Will for us to have sufficient finances both for paying our bills and for giving on behalf of the Kingdom.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 4:
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests (petitions, demands based on the stated Word) be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress (essential needs). 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving (sowed into me financially) but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.
18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Paul is specifically referring to financial needs in the above passage. We should not allow the adversary to convince us otherwise. The passages referencing financial provision have been operating in my life for decades so you cannot convince me that FATHER is not interested in our financial wellbeing.
Another Truth we must fully embrace is: “Jesus’ Blood does not cover your sins, It erases them!”
As The Holy Spirit clearly states in Psalm 103:3
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases
Those of us who fully grasp these Truths will certainly overcome any obstacles to such Truths. Let us not accept anything less. It is time we fully agree with FATHER in all areas.
