The Revelation Of Authority

What should be the result of revelation in the area of Kingdom authority?  We should walk in it.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 1:

12 But those who embraced Him and took hold of His Name

    were given authority to become

    the Children of GOD!

13 He was not born by the joining of human parents

or from natural means, or by a man’s desire,

but He was born of God.

14 And so the Living Expression

became a man and lived among us!

And we gazed upon the splendor of His glory,

the glory of the One and Only

Who came from the Father overflowing

    with tender mercy and Truth!

15 John taught the Truth about Him

when he announced to the people,

“He’s the One! Set your hearts on Him!

I told you He would come after me,

even though He ranks far above me,

for He existed before I was even born.”

16 And now out of His fullness we are fulfilled!

And from Him we receive grace heaped upon more grace!

17 Moses gave us the Law, but Jesus, the Anointed One,

unveils Truth wrapped in tender mercy.

18 No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor

    except the uniquely Beloved Son,

Who is cherished by the Father

and held close to HIS Heart.

Now He has unfolded to us

the full explanation of who God truly is!

Through Jesus, we have been give authority from FATHER to legally bring for HIS Kingdom on earth.  Power without authority will tend toward lawlessness and self promotion.

Authority should and must come first for the Sons and Daughters to walk according to FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Jesus perfected this authority when He came to the earth He created and perfected our restoration with FATHER through His Blood.  Jesus fully disclosed the Truth of walking in authority granted by FATHER.

Once we truly have the revelation of our authority, we are able to realize the power to heal and deliver those in need.  When power from Heaven arises out of the authority granted to us by Heaven, manifestation occurs.

In order to walk in this authority, unbelief must be removed from our mindset.  Jesus spoke of this Truth in Matthew chapter 8:

5 When Jesus entered the village of Capernaum, a captain in the Roman army approached Him, asking for a miracle. 6 “Lord,” he said, “I have a son who is lying in my home, paralyzed and suffering terribly.”

7 Jesus responded, “I will go with you and heal him.”

8–9 But the Roman officer interjected, “Lord, who am I to have You come into my house? I understand Your authority, for I too am a man who walks under authority and have authority over soldiers who serve under me. I can tell one to go and he’ll go, and another to come and he’ll come. I order my servants and they’ll do whatever I ask. So I know that all You need to do is to stand here and command healing over my son and he will be instantly healed.”

10 Jesus was astonished when He heard this and said to those who were following Him, “He has greater faith than anyone I’ve encountered in Israel! 11 Listen to what I am about to tell you. Multitudes of non-Jewish people will stream from the east and the west, to enter into the banqueting feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the heavenly kingdom. 12 But many Israelites, born to be heirs of the kingdom, will be turned away and banished into the darkness where there will be bitter weeping and unbearable anguish.”

13 Then Jesus turned to the Roman officer and said, “Go home. All that you have believed for will be done for you!” And his son was healed at that very moment.

The centurion was well-acquainted with authority and the power behind it.  This equated to him having great faith and no unbelief whatsoever.  Because of this great faith, healing came forth immediately.  This authority was further demonstrated when Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 9:

1 Jesus summoned together His twelve apostles and imparted to them authority over every demon and the power to heal every disease. 2 Then He commissioned them to preach God’s Kingdom realm and to heal the sick to demonstrate that the Kingdom had arrived. As He sent them out, He gave them these instructions: 3 “Take nothing extra on your journey. Just go as you are. Don’t carry a staff, a backpack, food, money, not even a change of clothes. 4 Whatever home welcomes you as a guest, remain there and make it your base of ministry. 5 And wherever your ministry is rejected and not welcomed, you are to leave that town and shake the dust off your shoes as a testimony before them.”

6 The apostles departed and went into the villages with the wonderful news of God’s Kingdom realm, and they instantly healed diseases wherever they went.

We have been given this same authority and power which is now resident in us even though it may be in a dormant state until we deal with any unbelief preventing our faith from being operational at 100%.  Jesus is waiting on us, we are not waiting on Him.
