We can live our lives based on our own ability to generate provision or we can submit to Our Heavenly Father and HE will provide for us with HIS supernatural provision which was determined before HE formed us in the womb. It is our choice.
Malachi wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 3:
8 “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the LORD of hosts;
12 And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
FATHER committed to each of us to a provision beyond our ability to comprehend it. HE spoke and said “I will pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” If you believe HIS Word then you must accept the reality of this passage as well.
HE said to bring HIM the tithes into the storehouse else we are robbing HIM, not the recipients. Out of my Love for you, I am willing to write about this sensitive subject knowing it will be rejected by some. However, should I be silent when I know this Truth has manifested in my life? Should I hold back in effort to keep from offending people in this area? Fortunately, I don’t have to rely on tithes and offerings given to Servias Ministries. My wife and I give into the ministry ourselves thus I have no pressure to water down the Word in this area.
Ministers will often skip the earlier verses in Malachi 3:
3 Behold, I send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord [the Messiah], Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; the Messenger or Angel of the covenant, Whom you desire, behold, He shall come, says the Lord of hosts.
2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap;
3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.
4 Then will the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in ancient years.
5 Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against the false swearers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, and who turn aside the temporary resident from his right and fear not Me, says the Lord of hosts.
6 For I am the Lord, I do not change; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
When you give tithes, you become connected with those who are being purified so that they may offer to THE LORD offerings in righteousness. These writings are intended to move the Sons and Daughters to that very state of righteousness. As a result, we all will walk in the “fear of THE LORD”. Those who don’t walk in this “fear of THE LORD” will at best be observers rather than partakers of the Divine Nature.
I have seen people’s wealth evaporate in days and weeks. What they trusted in was lost and left them in dire straits. Let us not be counted among them for Our Heavenly Father set our provision in Heaven before HE formed each of us in the womb. Let us place our trust in Heavenly treasures rather than earthly treasures that are at best temporary in nature.
Tithing requires us to trust in FATHER’S Word and act based on that trust. If there is unbelief in your heart, you are not ready to give. Seek FATHER first and hear The Holy Spirit before you give. Don’t let man persuade you to give. Don’t just mentally agree to give attempting to satisfy the Word while you are still in unbelief. Let The Holy Spirit guide you in giving.
