Where We Are At

The world requires us to constantly meet certain requirements in order to be accepted and we are constantly being judged according to those standards.  FATHER’S Love is different.

In Mark chapter 1, Jesus began seeking out His disciples:

16 And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

17 Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

18 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

19 When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.

20 And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.

In Acts chapter 9 Jesus again took the initiative:

3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.

4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”  Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”  Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Jesus pursued a relationship with those who were not yet in their calling.  He did not wait for them to pursue Him, neither did He wait for Paul to finally get a revelation of who Jesus is.  Love will find us where are at and will begin to minister to us in the appropriate manner.  The Holy Spirit is found wherever the lost and hurt are to be found so we should be confident when we minister to those in need.  Our Heavenly Father is not passive in HIS pursuit of HIS Sons and Daughters but is actively ministering to us all of the time but is giving us the choice to receive HIS ministry in whatever manner it comes to us.

Jesus revealed Love’s intent when He prayed in John chapter 17:

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

21 that they all may be one (in unity), as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

Jesus expressed the full will of FATHER in this prayer.  Consider that you are never alone but know that FATHER is with you and wants to bring you closer to HIM and become in full unity with HIM.  HE wants you to be in the same unity as HE is with HIS Most Holy Son.  HE has accepted each of us where we are at individually and we should never assume that we have to achieve some state of holiness before HE will use us in our calling.  HE will nurture us each step of the way and HIS grace and mercy will prevail in our areas of weakness.  Let HIM be concerned about perfecting us as we simply walk the path HE has shown us.  Do not compare yourself to others for they have a different calling.

FATHER found each of us where we were at in our lives at the time.  HE began our training plan which is unique to our individual lives.  No two plans are alike.  HIS grace and mercy deals with our individual weaknesses so we don’t have to worry about “conditions” as we walk out HIS plan.  HE Loves you and me for who we are, not our achievements or lack thereof.  Be at peace today and know Our Loving Heavenly Father is our biggest Fan!
