Moving Toward Transparency

If there is one quality missing among most people, it is a lack of transparency.  Walking in transparency is in direct conflict with the ego which wants to project full and complete success in all that we have set our hands to do.  We want those around us to believe that we have no struggles or issues that might lower our status among our peers.  It is often about building a reputation without the Truth and facts being the foundation.

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 2:

1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,

2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Transparency must begin with those who have gained your trust over the years and are like-minded with you.  Those who are pursuing a walk in Agape Love will meet that criteria before others do for they will not use your transparency as a means to hurt or belittle you.  Let’s face it, we all have plenty of imperfections if we are only willing to be open about it.  Those walking in selfish ambition will exploit your weaknesses and time will divulge their intent.  Conceit is an attempt at “empty glory” in order to exalt oneself without any basis.

We need to move to a state of Agape Love where we are truly in one accord and of one mind.  This can only be done as we are willing to take on the Mind of Christ.  In order to achieve this, we must become transparent ourselves and quit trying to keep up with the false perceptions created by those who have no transparency.  Our focus must be on the Truth which will stand on its own and quit trying to massage the facts to fit some perception our ego wants us to promote.  Keep in mind that FATHER gives me these writings and are meant to change me as well as those who read and embrace them.

There is much peer pressure found among most groups of believers who think they have the key to Sonship.  It is subtle but nonetheless it is there.  If Agape Love were truly the primary goal of those groups, this would not be the case.  Agape Love cannot be reduced to a formula, counting dates, some form of technical analysis, or declaration founded on some past revelation.  Agape Love is a personal, spiritual issue which must be addressed by each one of us individually.  Will there be some corporate activation on a specific Feast day that all will acknowledge as the turning point?  Possibly, but we must not concern ourselves with the corporate at the expense of our individual spiritual state.  If each of us will watch over our own situation and focus on becoming mature, the corporate will take care of itself through FATHER’S Plan.

Paul expressed this Truth and gave us the perfect Example:

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

If we truly want to be Christ-like and become mature Sons of GOD then we must take what Paul wrote seriously in the above passage.  This must become the number one priority in our daily walk.  We must become transparent in our relationship with others who we believe to be like-minded.  This will allow us to minister to whatever is keeping our brother or sister from overcoming their daily challenges.  As we make ourselves of no reputation as did Jesus, we then allow FATHER to decisively move us to the fullness of our calling.  This calling will be 100% motivated by Agape Love.  We will not have to convince people of our calling for they will see it because of the transparency of our lives.
