Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Colossians chapter 1:
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Stop and consider this Truth- Christ is in you and me and since He is in you and me then we should be the outward expression of Him to all the earth. Our fruits should confirm Christ in us and if they don’t then we need to mature to a higher level.
James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 3:
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
The above attributes should be present in our daily lives for Christ is in us. As we die to the flesh then the good fruits come forth without any hindrance from the old man. Can people around us tell that we have Christ in us? If not, why? In Galatians chapter 5 Paul instructs us “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” We have the choice to walk in THE SPIRIT thus we are able to fulfill this charge. As we do then we produce the fruit of THE SPIRIT: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These fruit is what this world needs.
FATHER will empower our words if they arise out of the good fruit mentioned above. HE is not obligated to respond on our behalf if we are not being led by THE SPIRIT. HE will not participate in our frustration with others or other acts of immaturity. This is one reason why Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:
37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
We should inspire people to change rather than attempt to force or manipulate them in some manner. Let the Holy Spirit convict them of their sins and lawlessness. We are not to heap guilt on people in order to get them to alter their path. Love does not seek its own, Love inspires. Love does not consider wrongdoing and does not threaten others for it knows the end of the matter.
We must not let other people change us or decide who we are for we are Christ’s, we are Love. Christ in us is greater than any other expression which can be found among men. Why would we settle for less?
Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
As our Love grows and produces fruit, we will become the full expression of Christ to others. Above all, this is why we are here.
