Jesus Paid The Price

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Galatians chapter 3:

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Let us consider the magnitude of this price Jesus paid for it includes all of mankind who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever thus His sacrifice has no time limit.  He died for both our sins AND sicknesses so let us embrace the fullness of His offering to FATHER.  Jesus is Our High Priest before FATHER and no further sacrifice is needed to perfect the requirement to be restored.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The precious blood of Jesus Christ was the price paid for our restoration so let us walk with respect and gratitude for such a dear price being paid on our behalf.  Shouldn’t we be quick to glorify FATHER in all that we do based on the price paid for our redemption?  Where is the gratitude and Love among the believers?  It should not be confined to one week of celebration per year but should be expressed in every breath and every step we take.

In Galatians chapter 5:

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

We are directed not to be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.  We must not return to our old ways and allow the old man to rise up and once again rule over us.  If we do then we are diluting the price paid for us to be free from the law of sin and death.  Let our confession reflect life and Love rather than death and defeat.  Let our words be those directed by The Holy Spirit and be a blessing toward others.  Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 4:

3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We must not let the god of this age prevail in those we have access to in our daily walk.  We must let the pure Gospel of Christ come forth and shine on them.  Jesus paid the price for these people and we must proclaim their emancipation from their slavery to the god of this world.  The resurrection of Jesus Christ assured us of our deliverance from the old man and we must not forget this event or allow it to become commonplace.  Let us shout this Good News from the rooftops for it was the greatest transaction of all time.

You were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit!
