Accept or Reject

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Romans chapter 3:

19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;

20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

By Love FATHER gave the Law in order that man would know the difference between sin and righteousness.  Enforcement of the Law would modify outward behavior but did not address the intent of men’s hearts.  The Law established accountability of all mankind.  It is important to know and understand the Law but isn’t more important to know and hear the Lawgiver?  If we know only the Law then when unique circumstances arise that are not specifically mentioned in the Law, there may be interpretation needed in order to determine right from wrong.  Man has developed a court system whereby judges deal with such issues.  Do the judges hear FATHER or are their opinions compromising the intent of the Law?

If the Law was given out of Love, then it must be interpreted by those who hear FATHER’S Voice and walk in Love in order to satisfy the intent of the Law.  Would you want anyone else hearing your case or dispute?  The current court system has generally departed from the Law.  Nowadays, the case is often determined by the qualifications and devices of the attorney rather than the truth of the matter.  In the end, the current legal system is accountable to FATHER and will receive its just reward.

Israel was given the Gospel but rejected it just as they were given the Law and rejected it as well as the Lawgiver.  Each and every day we have the opportunity and decision to accept or reject the walk of Christ in our lives.  None who read this can claim they have not had the opportunity to receive the Good News contained in the New Testament.  Never before has it been so accessible to so many.  Jesus very specifically told us the whole Law can be summed up in two commandments which Jesus spoke to a certain lawyer in Matthew chapter 22:

37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

In Mark chapter 12 Jesus included:

34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”

In Luke chapter 10 Jesus also added:

28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

If you want to move toward the Kingdom of GOD and live then Jesus laid out the essence by which we should live our daily lives- walk in Love.  We can either accept this very simple and straightforward Truth or reject it.  There is no need to do some exhaustive study to come to such a conclusion for the Truth of the matter is in fact very simple.
