Commandments to Love Mankind

Our Heavenly Father gave us Ten Commandments that summarized the walk of Love.  Let us focus on the last three which involve interaction with others:

Exodus 20:15  Thou shalt not steal.

Exodus 20:16  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exodus 20:17  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour’s.

The purpose of these commandments is to support life.  When you break these commandments you move towards destruction and death.  When Jesus was asked which Commandment was the greatest, He replied:

Matthew 22:36  Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?

Matthew 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

Matthew 22:39  And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Matthew 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Moses/Elijah ministry as well as as the Joshua/Elisha ministry is tied to our revelation of Love, based on the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:40.  Without Love, we cannot fulfill the Joshua/Elisha ministry of “fruitfulness of the Kingdom”.  How can you expect the abundant anointing of Our Heavenly Father to flow through you unless you operate in 100% Love?  Walking in Love is the test of worthiness to receive a greater anointing than those whose Pentecostal anointing were flawed by self-interest.  In the Pentecostal Church Age, the anointing of healing and the other gifts was restricted by the “leaven” in those who operated in those gifts.  Initially the ministry was well intended but as time passed, the focus became financial wealth, power, or sex.

Our Heavenly Father is our Provider: Yahweh Jireh (Yireh): “The Lord will provide.”  If we truly believe HIS promise then we see no need to steal.  If we are lacking something in the physical realm, we either don’t need it yet or there is something keeping us from getting it.  When we steal it, our actions are indicating that we really don’t believe Our Heavenly Father is our Provider.  Respect of property is the basis of honoring others’ rights and callings.  Greed is another form of stealing.  When you have resources you really don’t need at the expense of your “neighbor”, then you are effectively stealing as well.  You steal his opportunity to have the means to operate in his calling.  Scarcity and excess both indicate that you are not hearing Our Heavenly Father.

The real global epidemic is not swine flu, it is bearing false witness.  Truth and Integrity are hard to find.  When we lie to or about our neighbor, we do it in self interest.  Governments lie, politicians lie, corporate CEO’s lie, advertising lies, employees lie, etc.  Perjury is the deliberate giving of false or misleading testimony under oath.  Misrepresentation of the truth is “bearing false witness”.  When you love reality and not illusion, there will be no reason to lie or misrepresent it to anyone.  Speaking the truth in harshness can be just as damaging as lying.  This is why we are to speak the truth in Love.  You should consider the other person’s level of understanding when speaking the truth so as to minimize the hurt.  Jesus often spoke in parables as a means to convey the truth without the sting and harshness that comes from being frank.

An individual inward change must come in order to step out of this path of lies and deception.  We must look inward, inside of our Holy of Holies where the Holy Spirit resides.  As we begin to comprehend the source of Love given to us by Our Creator, it will then permeate outward.  I believe that small children are the first to see the change.  I am convinced that they can see our aura and as it perceived as being attractive and safe to them, they will want to be in your presence.  Jesus attracted the little children, and so should we.
