The Source of All

By THE SPIRIT the Beloved Disciple both saw and heard in the Revelation of Jesus Christ in chapter 4:

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

For You created all things,

And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Here we have in the biggest of pictures the scene in the highest Heaven where FATHER is being worshipped by those closest to HIM.  By what John saw, heard, and wrote we see that those closest to FATHER are those who have been given the greatest power and authority.  They are known as “elders” which speaks of full maturity and have crowns which denote power and authority.  Both descriptions correlate to each other.  The more Spiritually mature one is the greater power and authority one is given.  These elders have pure hearts and are allowed to “see” FATHER in all HIS Glory.

When one casts his crown before the Throne it indicates a realization that his or her power and authority are derived from the ONE WHO originates both.  As each of us matures, we begin to understand that all we have been given pales in comparison to FATHER’S Glory and Majesty and we come to the realization that “things” are really temporal and we should not sweat the small stuff.

When we finally come to the realization that FATHER created ALL things by HIS Will then we must respect ALL things as having intent.  Our only question should be “What is FATHER’S Divine Intent behind this?”.  The problem most people have is that they fail to ask the strategic question but instead hold on to some set of values and doctrine which keeps their mind limited to what FATHER has to reveal.

FATHER is the SOURCE of all Wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill thus when we need answers we should ask HIM.  When people are hard of hearing, FATHER sends those who can hear to convey the solution to their problem.  Instead of listening to FATHER’S Wisdom through ones HE sent, people tend to be unwilling to hear because they simply don’t want to change.  If we are in a mess, why is it that we defend our indefensible position of failure.  If we believe something to be true but there is no fruit produced to support our belief, we do we continue to hold that belief as Truth?  Ultimately it can be linked to “self” which is unwilling to give up its throne in your heart.  The source of our external problems is found inside of us.  We must change in order to mature and ascend to a higher state of Spiritual maturity.

James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.”

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Until we acknowledge and respond to the reality that FATHER is THE SOURCE of all, we will be double-minded and our hearts will not be pure.  It is really quite simple but in reality most people have difficulty coming to this point in their life.  There is a great battle that must be won inside each of us.  As we overcome the old man we will begin to withhold our emotions as we are faced with trials and tests.  Our words will become less and we will listen more, especially when FATHER speaks for we finally know that we know HE is the SOURCE of all.
