Jesus provided us the example of establishing the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. When the power of FATHER shows up, people respond and the only hindrance is unbelief. In Matthew chapter 9 Jesus healed two blind men:
27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”
31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.
Their faith was critical to their sight being restored. Faith comes by hearing The Word and testimony about the power of GOD. Jesus had just raised a young girl from the dead and the two blind men’s faith were activated when they heard of this miracle. Their faith demanded that they follow Jesus and receive their sight. He was happy to respond to their faith. His anointing flowed from Heaven through Him to them and their eyes were opened. Unbelief did not restrict the anointing.
The miracles are not the focus of the Kingdom but are to be a witness of the Good News. Miracles provide credibility to the message of the Gospel and give people hope. Our every word and action should focus on bringing people into FATHER’S Kingdom, not exalting ourselves in any manner. We are vessels of honor to be used by HIM as HIS SPIRIT in us guides us in our walk. We become sensitive to HIS SPIRIT and respond by taking action and speaking as HE directs. Our eyes are opened to the needs of those we encounter. The recipient responds because he or she realizes FATHER in personally interested in his or her welfare.
As we walk according to FATHER’S direction, the news will spread. We don’t have to intervene on behalf of FATHER for HE will bring those who are ready to receive into our midst. We don’t need to force the situation but instead be led by THE SPIRIT as we prepare ourselves by aligning with HIM. As we walk in Love and are empowered by great faith in FATHER’S willingness and commitment to establish HIS Kingdom through us, we will have rich and rewarding experiences that many thought were not possible.
FATHER opens doors and closes doors. We must accept that not all we encounter are ready to walk through the open door. We know that FATHER opens eyes and ears to see and hear so we must not be disappointed when people don’t respond to FATHER’S invitation. We must simply go on about FATHER’S Business and spread the Gospel to those HE places before us. We are the light in a world moving toward great darkness.
