Psalm 4:2 How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame?
How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood?
Economic reports continue to roll in pointing to a day of reckoning. I marvel how men focus and follow paths that lead to certain destruction. When we read and watch the news about how armies are blinded to the Truth, we only need to go to Deuteronomy chapter 28 where FATHER lists the ramifications of disobedience:
28 The LORD will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.
29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.
Why would HE do that? To save world from utter destruction. If an army is both empowered and disobedient, it will destroy everything in its path and FATHER will not allow that to come to pass. HE will protect HIS Remnant wherever they are. HE will dispatch angels if necessary to blind those who would do harm to those who fully trust in FATHER and have pursued the full revelation of Love. HE brought fire down from Heaven when Elijah was confronted by adversaries. Do you think HE will do any less for you or me?
Psalm 4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly;
The LORD will hear when I call to Him.
4 Be angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the LORD.
Who do you put your trust in? Men and women who only have self-preservation as their priority? Men who have succumb to greed? Those who are willing to accept the deaths of innocent people as “unintended” consequences? I guess after spending over 40 years in finance and technology, you could say that I am an expert in the world’s eyes. If you only knew how quickly a complex, technical world could collapse with one misstep by an inexperienced software engineer, you would have similar concerns about the fragility of the current system. On top of that, you have hackers who are motivated by scarcity and self exaltation who wish to disrupt the masses. Where does the current path lead? Selah.
The body is designed to heal itself and live forever yet men have created countless chemicals which are bombarding the body’s immune system on a continual basis. Some of these chemicals are dispersed by ignorance whereas others are dispersed by nefarious individuals who wish to control population. Of course they are the ones who should remain after the masses are gone. Pharmaceutical companies are continually devising schemes to eliminate competitors who supply natural supplements. They throw money at legislators to enacts laws that are designed to remove competition by requiring excessive and unnecessary regulations preventing smaller companies from competing. Their drugs are toxic by their own admission- one potential benefit versus 10-20 potential negative effects (including death). It is really getting ugly out there.
It is so obvious to me that only FATHER can pull us out of this mess!
We can get angry but must not sin. It is time to be still until FATHER instructs us to act. Until we are endued with power and authority from On High, any actions are vain and are no different than those who have created the mess we are in. We must keep our focus on our First Love and let Love be our intent. Love will restore the earth and all the inhabitants. I am convinced that FATHER will provide the solutions to each and every problem man has created but those solutions will only be given to those who have been perfected by Love. Otherwise, the solutions would be exploited just as they have been in the past.
Psalm 4:6 There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?”
LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Knowing that FATHER has our best interest at heart allows me to sleep soundly at night. As the heathen rage, I am at peace. As men devise plots that are intended for harm, FATHER knows who they are and where they are at. HE will ultimately bring forth HIS judgment and balance the scales, I don’t have to. I will simply be still and wait on HIM to give me instructions that promote Life and blessing for all of mankind. Trusting in HIM is our safety net.
