The carnal man would have you believe that you cannot attain perfection. It is the guilt of the past that often weighs you down as you proceed on the path FATHER has called you. “Self” wants to keep you from moving higher in Spiritual understanding because the ego knows that as you ascend toward Mount Zion, you will shed the old man and the associated cravings. We must take command of our mind and focus on the higher Truths FATHER is revealing to us in this hour:
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
As we meditate on the Truth, our thought life is cleansed of the impure, selfish thoughts. We begin to see people through the eyes of Love rather than the eyes of judgment. The fact is the vessels of dishonor are maturing toward their end at the same time the vessels of honor are coming to full perfection. If anyone understood moving away from unrighteousness, it was Paul who was Saul. His redemption assured him that there is hope for all and he understood the free gift given to all by the Blood of Jesus Christ as he wrote:
Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
This clear path to perfection is only hindered by our unwillingness to move forward in maturity. Our salvation is a gift but those called to become overcomers require a full commitment. HIS Blood is sufficient for your entrance to Heaven but your willingness to serve HIM determines which group or squadron you will function and participate in. HE is drawing those who have a deep desire to serve mankind to a higher place in Spiritual terms. These will be known by their Love for mankind and their willingness to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT rather than their own minds. Not my will but yours, FATHER!
The priorities of those called to this higher calling to serve will cause them to put away old aspirations. When the mind was in control, their priorities were different. They may have focused on sports, the political scene, or other various organizations to associate with. But as they moved away from the mind’s path to “The Way”, their priorities changed. They didn’t isolate themselves from the others, their priorities simply changed. They embraced fellowship over competition and status. They began looking for ways to serve others rather than exploit them. They began to appreciate life and all of creation and simply let life “be”.
As we move toward perfection, we must focus on submitting fully to HIS Spirit in our daily walk, not just during the heat of the battle. For in HIM we live and move and have our being as Paul stated in Acts 17:28. Our faith must have a foundation of Love supporting it because any other foundation will be as sand when the rains come and the winds blow. When Love is your primary intent, nothing that man does will dissuade you from your expectation of what FATHER states will come to pass. Your expectation lines up with FATHER’S Word to you.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
When FATHER speaks, faith comes to those who have ears to hear. Every Word HE speaks has power within it to cause it to come to pass. The carnal mind cannot comprehend the reality that there is “substance” to faith-filled words.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
When FATHER speaks, manifestation occurs. We only have to look at the universe and its constant expansion to observe this Truth. If HE says we can attain to a pure heart, we must accept that Truth and proceed accordingly and quit listening to the carnal mind which is forever condemning us for our past actions and thoughts. We must cast down vain imaginations and be tenacious in our quest to become the full expressions of HIS Love on this earth. As for me, I will not be denied this Truth in my life. I will continue to run the race knowing that the most difficult leg of the race is the last 100 yards. That final leg of the race is where you find full commitment to the high calling. Anyone can start a race, but how many are truly committed to finishing? When we see the finish line, we are refreshed and tap into an energy that remained dormant until this very hour. Let us move on toward perfection!
