Christ or man, it’s your choice

By now, those who read these blogs should realize that I am urging you to have a direct relationship with FATHER.  It is my heartfelt desire that these blogs encourage you to that end.  Yes, we are to do our part in supplying other parts of the Body of Christ but we must never take our focus off the Head- Our Lord Jesus Christ.

When dross rises to the top and forms a thin layer ready to be removed, you cannot see beyond the dross but Our Heavenly Father can.  Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, HE continues the process of extracting the dross from our lives.  After all, it is HIS Dwelling Place that HE is cleaning up.  The Song of Solomon, the new song, is about a Love relationship between the Bridegroom and the Bride.  Others would attempt to rush or delay the relationship but there is no set time frame to Love and both simply want to express themselves to each other.  It is about who we are rather than what we do.

Men want to keep you busy and on the move.  They want to keep the momentum going of their current path and want to convince you that their current course should be your course as well.  Deep down inside they believe there is safety in numbers.  The inherent problem with their assumptions is that if FATHER is not in what they are doing, their path ultimately leads to nowhere.  They simply burned up resources that could have been used for fruitful purposes.

Paul wrote in Colossians chapter 1:

24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the “called out ones”.

The ekklēsia has been translated as church but it means “called out ones”, those who have been separated out and known as members of the Body of Christ.  We as members of HIS Body should supply our gifts and callings for the maturing of the Body with the continual focus on The Head, not ourselves.  The more mature are to serve the less mature, not to exalt themselves as being special conduits selected by FATHER denoting some sort of superiority.  The ego must not be allowed to infiltrate the message of Christ.  When a man constantly moves the spotlight onto himself, he becomes an “anti-christ”.  I implore you to seek out a relationship with FATHER first and foremost.

Paul continues:

25  of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God

Each of us who minister should have a common goal- to fulfill the Word of FATHER, nothing else.  HIS most primary Word is Love and as you know, I will continue to focus on HIS most primary characteristic that has received little or no focus in the past by those charged with stewardship.

Can anyone Love you more than Christ?  Most who have loved you in the past were of a conditional nature.  If you perform then you will be loved.  Jesus Christ shed His blood before you could perform thus His Love is unconditional.  It is HE Who seeks the most intimate relationship with you on a moment by moment basis.  As we embrace this Love, we will seek to spread His unconditional Love to others.  We need not seek the revelation of HIS Love twice removed from men who would lead you to believe that you must follow their lead in order to fulfill FATHER’S mandate for your life.  Jesus Christ and FATHER are One and you should expect to become One with FATHER as well.  There is but one door you can enter through:

John 10:7  Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

8  All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

9  I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

10  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Whose door are you pursuing?
