Finality of Babylon’s Fall

Revelation 18:21  Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore.

22  The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore.

23  The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

24  And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

Great violence is a judgment against the religious system of men.  This system is born out of the souls of men and cause those who are young in Christ to stumble thus they will receive the full wrath of FATHER.  Jesus warned of this eventuality when He spoke the following words in Luke chapter 17:

1  Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!

2  It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3  Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

4  And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Those who are immature in the LORD stumble often for they have not yet become mature enough to place their flesh and/or soul in subjection.  They are at least partially blinded and will offend others.  Those who hold those sins over others and exploit them are subject to a greater judgment.  A millstone is used to grind wheat into powder and what better type and shadow to communicate that none will be lost than the judgment of the millstone.  The powder is refined for great use, not thrown away.  Breaking up clay into powder allows the Potter to reform the clay into a vessel of honor.  With Love, nothing and nobody are wasted.

The religious nature of the city of Babylon will be judged and found no more.  It exalted itself above FATHER but has now been judged and cast down from its derivative authority only given it by perception, not reality.  A city is a dwelling place and where you dwell determines your priorities.  Who or what is your highest priority?  As I have said many times in the past, just look at your calendar and your bank account… those are good indicators of your priorities.  Are you a giver or a taker?  After an encounter, are people better off or worse off upon your departure?  Do you promote life or death?

The musicians will no longer be found among the religious system.  As a musician myself, I have an appreciation for the difference between songs of praise and worship and songs that excite the flesh and soul.  Many of the “praise and worship” services have become anything but.  Spirit-led praise and worship brings forth manifestations of HIS Presence.  Those other services will be judged accordingly.

The laborers will also be removed from the “city”.  Labor of the soul will be replaced by the labor of Love.  A new economic system will emerge and no longer will lies be used to validate other lies.  The current system is replete with statistics that are meaningless and misrepresent the reality of the current state.  On a personal level, people try to project themselves to be something they are not.  Labor will no longer be used to promote religion but instead will further the Kingdom of FATHER.  Peace will spread as men are no longer left to their soulish devices to make a living or feed their family.  The positive will replace the negative, motivated by Love.

The light of a lamp refers to the “anointing” and revelation that have been allowed during the Pentecostal Age.  The parable of the Ten Virgins refers to the five foolish vrgins who failed to keep their lamps trimmed with oil.  In one respect, it refers to those who have lost their first Love just as the angel warned the church at Ephesus in Revelation chapter 2.  Without Love you are performing dead works.  Your first Love requires you to Love first and the bride is one who has Love at her forefront of consciousness.  She looks to the bridegroom to complete her and she submits fully to him.  She takes on His name and His character.  Her body becomes His just as the Body of Christ submits to the Head.  Those who lost their first Love substituted religion for Love.  The sold themselves to their idols and merchandised what little anointing that was left.  The fruitfulness of their first Love began to wither away until they had no Truth left to support them.

The sacrifices of Love by the prophets and saints must be reconciled for their work was not in vain.  They planted seeds of righteousness that sprang forth and demanded fruitfulness to be reckoned unto them.  Their blood was not in vain but was meant to bring forth the reconciliation of all mankind.  It was and is their intercessory work coming to fruition.  The finality of Babylon’s fall is proof that their blood was not spilled in vain.  We honor the commitment and persistence of the calling given to them by Father.  Let Babylon’s fall and removal from us be completed soon.
