Behold, A Great Multitude

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

The angels, the twenty-four elders, and the four living creatures were around the throne fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,  saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,

Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,

Be to our God forever and ever.

Amen.”

What a marvelous and glorious sight.  These first three groups surround the throne of Jesus and in the outer circle a great multitude encompasses them.  Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?  One of the elders asks John and his response is “Sir, you know”.  When a question in Heaven is posed, be assured the answer is already known.  The elder has the Mind of Christ.  He replies:

“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;

17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

This great multitude are those who followed the false systems of man.  They were mentioned in Revelation Chapter two when describing the corrupt church who committed adultery with Jezebel (the religious realm of Christianity), the prophetess.  Their souls went after false idols and did not repent.  They were too busy following after illusions of false ministry.  It was necessary for them to suffer through the great tribulation and go through the fiery furnace to burn away the wood, hay, and stubble.  Failure to repent necessitated a judgment corresponding to the situation.  However they still ended up encompassing the throne, just a little further from the center.  This great tribulation was experienced by those who ended up in Heaven, not the world as many false prophets have proclaimed in the past.  They repented.

The process of tribulation (a pressing, pressing together, pressure) is specifically designed by FATHER to separate the chaff from the wheat.  The wheat had to be threshed at the end of the age for the harvest to be complete.  The old nature needed removal and there were deep-rooted doctrines and beliefs that had to be brought to the surface and exposed.  Traditions of men found their way into the hearts of this great multitude yet Our Heavenly Father in HIS great grace and mercy delivered them out of their old nature and restored them to a place around the throne.  That is extremely good news!

The Melchizedek priesthood, the Sons of Love, were tasked with bringing in the great multitudes that John could not number for the gathering was so great and out of every nation, kindred, people, and tongue!  First, the Sons (firstfruits)  are redeemed and secondly, the “church” (wheat harvest) is redeemed.  HIS Love is greater than any hindrance, tradition, doctrine, idol, philosophy, or any other man-created system for ultimately their blindness is removed and their tears are wiped away.

The robes of this multitude are washed and made white in the blood of the Lamb.  “To be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen” refers to the righteous acts of the saints.  The ministry of the Sons brought forth this great harvest.  What will be the first sign that the Sons have become “operational”?  I believe when we experience a full and complete healing and restoration, a sign of putting on incorruption.  There will be no sickness or disease found among the Sons as they go forth and minister.  This incorruption will flow outward and their bodies will fully respond and submit to the incorruptible nature now fully manifested.  What a glorious event!  They too will be without spot or wrinkle.

This great multitude will be waving palm branches of victory.  In the wilderness, the children of Israel were confronted with bitter waters at Marah.  The waters needed to be “healed”.  FATHER responded:

For I am the LORD who heals you.”

27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.

This event prophesies of the nations being healed where the Divine government (twelve wells of water) resides.  Elim means “palms” or victory over Marah (bitterness).

Does this reflect some eternal damnation preached from countless pulpits around the world?  Does this speak of “jihad”?  No, this speaks of the result of the Divine Intent of FATHER’S Love.  Behold, A great multitude is around the Throne!
