The Spirit of Might

The term “Might” means: strength,  valor, bravery, mighty deeds (of GOD).  This fifth manifestation of the Seven Spirits is indicative of its position.  The number 5 represents grace and grace refers to Divine enablement.  As we proceed in maturity, we should expect to be empowered to do mighty deeds and walk in strength.  Fear is no longer in our vocabulary.  In Romans 8, Paul writes:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

When we walk in the Spirit of HIS Might, nothing will prevail against us.  We know deep down those words “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”  It is Our FATHER who prepares the way for those who walk according to HIS Spirit, HIS Wisdom, HIS Understanding, and HIS Counsel.  The unknown is no longer a concern to us.  The implosion of the current system will not affect our walk and we no longer rely on man’s feeble attempts to control the world.  Destruction of fiat currencies will not invoke fear in our life as we know WHO supplies our need according to HIS riches.  The Spirit of Might brings forth bravery and courage.   Once again, let us look at Paul’s letter to the Colossians in Chapter 1:

9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

The path continues to narrow for those who will not be denied the fullness of the SPIRIT.  Many began on the path but for various and sundry reasons, abandoned the journey.  “Many are called but few are chosen” explains the reality of  fewer people on the narrow path.  There are those who are too busy to press in.  Others are receiving their recompense by their focus on continuous entertainment , hobbies, or quest for material wealth.  Yet others simply do not have ears to hear or eyes to see.  The Good News is that Our Heavenly  Father did not call all men to take this path.  Just as Gideon’s army began at 32,000, then reduced to 10,000, and finally 300, the Sons, the elect, the remnant, will be in equivalent numbers.  Those in the final cut have the same passion for mankind as their Elder Brother.  They too will minister life to all mankind.  Just as all of Israel received benefit from the Gideon “300”, mankind will benefit from those filled with the Seven Spirits. No enemy, adversary, or roadblock will deny those who remain on the path for they will walk in the Spirit of Might.
